Thank you for this inspiring video, Martha and Laura. I am just starting a small business to assist former prisoners stay out of prison. Scary, but I have been 'touch by the spirit' so to speak, and have a lot of confidence I can do this. You are right it is not about "me" it is about "we" the universe and my support group.
I watched this interview and new that Laura would do great in the Olympics. I watched her
dive at the Olympics and she came in 5th place I believe but I was still sooooo proud of her. When you think of all the injuries she has had over her career and all the dives it is amazing what Laura has done and through it all Laura gave the power over to God to help her throughout life and not just the Olympics or any other meet she might have but for life.
I am really proud of her and wish Laura and her family all the best that life has to offer her.
God blessed her and will always be there for Laura. Jesus promised this for all of us if we just believe.

HELLO I WANT TO HAVE GOD IN MY LIFE AND FEEL AS THOUGH THERES SOMETHING MISSING.I JUST MADE SOME MAJOR CHANGES AND NEED SOMEONE TO GUIDE ME THE RIGHT WAY AND NO THAT HE WILL DO SO.CAN YOU HELP ME AS TO WHERE TO START AND HOW TO ASK ME TO COME INTO MY LIFE.AGAIN THANKS I THINK YOU ARE GREAT.
THANK YOU LAURA FOR YOUR INSPIRATIONAL STORY,OF HOW YOU WERE FAITHFUL IN TURNING YOUR LIFE BACK OVER TO GOD,WHEN YOU REALIZE YOU COULDN,T DO IT WITHOUT THE DEAR LORDS HELP.YOU ARE A GREAT ROLE MODEL FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.THANKS AGAIN MARTHA FOR SHARING.
Thankyou for that testimony of faith! I have been a Christian for nearly 35 years, and I needed to be reminded of that 'grain of mustard seed' faith. I have had some difficulties in my family life recently; I had been ready to 'give up' on believing in the miraculous communication and redemption, that Jesus gives. May God Richly Bless You All.
Laura Wilkenson you have been my light today. Thank you for sharing that. I too have a God beyond belief that is leading the way. Sometimes I think I am taking Him for granted because I am not always in close contact with Him; however, I am following. At 10 years of continuous sobriety from drugs & alcohol, at 50 yrs old (on July 15th), I am a full time student at the community college. I am pursuing my career in social work so that I can be of service to God & help others find themselves, as God has helped me find myself. God has been my leader for about 7 years now & although I am not in constant conversation with Him, He knows that He leads & I follow. It took me till 40 years old to open my eyes (hit rock bottom) & find a power greater than myself, whom I choose to call God.
Thank you for your spirit & your light today, Laura. And thank you Martha. You are my inspiration & I so look forward to receiving these videos every week. May God Bless you & keep you & yours. Amen

Thank you, Martha, for your interviews w/ Olympic athletes. Listening to Laura Wilkinson gave me a greater appreciation for the challenging road the athletes face leading up to the Olympics. But it also inspired me to think about whether or not I'm stepping out to the edge of the diving board in my own life. . . that place where you have to have trust. That place where you attempt to do something that's bigger than you are and requires a leap of faith.
I was especially encouraged to hear that she found Jesus there, just as the athlete you interviewed a few days ago did as well. If anyone didn't see THE GOLD MEDAL PROCESS, click on that video. I believe you'll be encouraged, too.
For anyone reading this, let's ask God what gifts and talents He may have given us that we haven't gone to the edge with yet. There may be something that's bigger than we are that could be a blessing to many. As Laura said, she realized she wasn't standing on the edge of the board alone. God was with her. And she didn't win alone. "We" won, she said. . .
Let's go for it, too!
Thanks again,
Misty
