Images from Tornado Relief

posted by Dillon Burroughs

As my area continues to return to normal following this week’s tornadoes, I thought I’d share some images from my friends at Samaritan’s Purse from their work in North Carolina. Please continue to pray for those affected by these storms.

Thanks!

A sincere prayer for our tornado victims

Father God, we come to you, first giving thanks for you handy work. It reminds us that you STILL have all power in your hand. We just want to lift up every family member, every individual, every community who has been impacted by the tornado. Father, heal them, restore them, renew their faith. Father give them hope, strength and favor during this time as they begin to rebuild their homes, lives, communities. As they bury their love ones, give them strength to make it through. Remind them that they can do nothing without you. Remind them that you are a healer and a deliver and without you we can do nothing. Fathter, give them favor with man so they can get the resources needed to rebuild their lives and remind them in all things to give YOU thanks. In Jesus name, Amen.

Evangelist Benton, that was a wonderful prayer. I repeated it with sencerity. When I saw these pictures I merely prayed “God be with them”
