Here in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving the 4th Thursday of November. I love dedicating a day to gratitude.

I just ran across this movie and love this scene even if it was cut from the film!!

Of all the tools I have learned over the years I think gratitude is the most universally useful. When I take the time to be grateful my entire experience changes.

Over the years I have learned to be especially grateful for difficult people and challenging events because they are often my greatest teachers. One of the things I love the most about the United States is Thanksgiving Day because I think of it as an entire day dedicated to being grateful.

Early in my spiritual journey I began writing gratitude lists. For a number of years I made it a point to add at least one thing to my gratitude list every day. After a while it was pages long and whenever I was feeling judgmental or angry or sad I would read it and my perspective would immediately change.

I'd love to see people post a list of the things they are most grateful for.

When I first began working with angels I thought of them as beings of light that were some how more powerful, bigger and smarter than me. I now realize that conceptualization of angles was really just a projection of my fear based filter system. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Shortly after my angel book was released I did a radio interview in which the interviewer asked me to explain angels. My answer was they are co-creators with us, they are more than willing to help us if we ask, but they are certainly no better than we are. The main difference between us and them is they don't have physical bodies and we do.

It is simply a matter of perspective. Often when we watch our friends make choices we can see the pitfalls and might be able to make suggestions that would save them from their limiting beliefs. Angels just have a limitless, unconditionally loving perspective so connect with them often and watch your life transform.
