Words really do have power. When I type the words aloha everyone, I really do send love to each and every one of you who read those words. I just thought I would take a moment to remind you what the word aloha means. It refers to love and the infinite power of your spirit.
In many of my recent posts, I have talked about prayer and meditation and I have received several e-mails asking me to explain the difference, so I thought I would talk a little bit about them. We are always surrounded by angels, we live embraced by their love, and it is only through prayer and meditation that I become aware of their presence.
I loved the song "Monday Monday" by the Mamas and the Papas. The sense that we never really know what is going to happen next really struck a cord with me when I first heard it, and whenever anything unexpected happens I think of it. This weekend was filled with news about the deaths of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.
Here is a memorial site for Farrah Fawcett and one for Michael Jackson if you would like to send their families your condolences.
Ever since the death of my dad, I have had more questions than answers deep in my soul. When that happens, I know it is time for more prayer and meditation. I thought I would share with you some of the images from my life. I know grief is a process, and even though I may not be thoroughly enjoying it, I embrace it as a wonderful part of my earth journey.
Yesterday, I drove to the end of the road and found a wonderful place to sit and feel the love of ever-present angels.
Here are some images of clouds that caught my attention. If you look closely, you can even see an angel, or at least i did!
And these clouds are just beautiful.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Tomorrow, I'll be sharing some of my favorite links for prayers, affirmations, and angel sightings.
With love and aloha, Susan
And remember you always do have angels on your shoulders, just remember to say hi to them occasionally!
This morning I woke up and felt relaxed, totally relaxed for the first time in a long time. I hadn't realized how stressful caring for my dad had been. Of course, waking up with the sound of the surf outside my hotel room helps.
While I was in Sedona people kept asking me for a list of suggested reading. There are so many wonderful books out there. If you have a favorite book by all means post it in the comments section. I'd love to see what you are reading. This is a list of some wonderful books about angels, miracles and grace as well as a few of my favorite books.
Everyday Grace by Marianne Williamson
Miracles: The Listener/The Gifted by Terri Blackstone
Sometimes fear can get a bad reputation and we begin to think it is a bad thing. Granted, choices made based on fear often lead to results we aren't wild about, but fear in and of itself is neither good nor bad. It is just fear, and as I suggested in an earlier post, it can cause us to forget everything and run.

About Pele
Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano as well as the goddess of transformation, passion, vitality and creation. Pele is a powerful force on the Hawaiian islands. Shortly after I moved to Hawaii, a friend suggested I have my property blessed. I asked Pele if I could live and work on her land. She graciously agreed, so I always take time to thank her and ask for her blessing in my endeavors.
