Aloha everyone, A friend of mine e-mailed me this image as part of a chain letter. I have always disliked chain letters with their veiled threat that if you fail to pass them on, something bad will happen, but if...

How can this be an "ancient sacred image of an angel" when it was said to have been photographed recently in Cancun? Any "photograph" can be easily manipulated and is certainly not an ancient image since it IS a photograph?

I don't mean to be negative, but...that claim just seems outlandish to me.

It IS a lovely picture, though...calming and peaceful. I like it! Glad you shared it.

I passed on what I was sent and asked anyone if they knew where it came from. A reader was kind enough to let me know where it came from so now we all know.

Does that make it any less sacred? That I guess will be in the eye of the beholder.

With love and aloha,
Susan

Thank for sharing your image and I just want you to know that I always believe in ANGELS because I can feel my angels besides me sometime and I'm bless to be able to feel that great feel.... My angel is letting me that they are there and don't worry they are in control of the situation good or bad.

Years ago when I was feeling very vulnerable I made a heartfelt but quick prayer to meet an angel. The next day, an impoverished little boy was added to my classroom. His name was Angel.

About the Art

About Pele
Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano as well as the goddess of transformation, passion, vitality and creation. Pele is a powerful force on the Hawaiian islands. Shortly after I moved to Hawaii, a friend suggested I have my property blessed. I asked Pele if I could live and work on her land. She graciously agreed, so I always take time to thank her and ask for her blessing in my endeavors.
