Aloha everyone,
I have always been fascinated by words. I didn’t know what I wanted to write about today, so I looked up the word Monday and found out all sorts of interesting things. I was thinking about writing on a specific angel today, so I was surprised when I found out Mondays are the day angels are commemorated by the Greek Orthodox Church.
Mondays are also considered auspicious days to fast, it is one of three days the Torah is read in public, and it is refers to day of the moon. According to Christian tradition, Sunday is the first day of the week while Monday is the first day of the work week for most people. That being said, I’d like to introduce you to one of my favorite angels, Camael (eventually, you will notice they are all my favorites).

Camael
Camael will help you with: Creating balance. Releasing stress. Awakening your innate goodness. Finding justice. Succeeding in any venture. Improving your relationships.
Camael’s name refers to “divine justice.” He wrestled with Jacob and appeared to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, filling him with hope at a time of great despair. In Druid mythology, he is the God of War and rules the planet Mars. When invoked he can appear as a leopard crouching on a rock or as a warrior dressed in a red tunic. He wears a green vest and has huge green wings. When you call upon him you will often see flashes of green.
Camael is the gatekeeper of heaven. He bestows power and invincibility on anyone who asks and who truly loves God. He awakens the goodness or Holiness that exists within everyone. He deepens interpersonal relationships and assists with self-discipline.
As a champion of divine justice, Camael is also an arbitrator of karma. He can show you how to release any lingering karma. He can also make sure justice is served if he feels you are being honest.
The greatest gifts in life come when you find the balanced, middle way that lies within. When you want to find that balance call upon Camael. He will help you connect with your inner wisdom and balance all areas of your life so that stress becomes a thing of the past. He will help you take flight and succeed in any endeavor that supports the greatest good.
Invocation
Light a green candle, take a few deep breaths and allow Camael to surround you with his magnificent wings. Open your heart and ask for his assistance. Honestly express your wants, needs and desires. Allow yourself to feel his love and to be guided by his wisdom.

Last year on my dad’s birthday – driving back from his eternal resting place – someone had written DAD in the sky – yet there were no planes – no writing being done – no clouds – and a boat load of traffic – as if to keep my mind on the road and not in the clouds.
Someone please explain what this means – i know it means something – because i saw it and it was so real and not imagined – there was too much traffic for me to be day dreaming about Dad – right then and there. How could i not believe at this point. Please i would like someone’s opinion. Thank you very much.

i appreciate you writing your response audrea40 – it is very important to me. my mother was with me when i saw it in the sky – and now – months later – she tells me that “oh well, i’m sure there is some kind of explanation for that – i am sure it wasn’t your father or God” – yet that day – she was crying as i was – cause it was a miracle and it was my dad saying, it’s okay, i am alright, right? or God sending me the message. it just helps me to understand what is happening. i wish i could find someone that could put me in touch with my dad – even though i know in the bible it says not to – i am so confused – i guess this is what they call true heartbreak. anyone and everyone please feel free to comment and share – i could use it and maybe i could help someone out there as well – thanks to all – thank you Audrea40

You can connect with your dad, in your heart of hearts. Just know he is there for you and that his love is still around you. Once you let go of your fear and doubt you will feel his presence.
I would be willing to bet that was your dad saying hi and even if it wasn’t it was certainly a wonderful gift and acknowledgment of your love for him.

“Coincidences are God’s way of staying anonymous.” It seems almost like your Mom is afraid to believe that it was a divine connection…I’ve lost count of the number of times that I have begged for a sign, only to be so blinded by my own thoughts that I couldn’t see it until I looked back once my mind was quieted. Once I let go of the desire for “instant gratification” (I want my sign NOW!) and learned how to let go of my own obsessive thoughts, I learned to see the subtle messages being sent.
My Dad passed 2 years and 7 months ago as of yesterday, and in that time I’ve learned how to feel the fact that he’s still there exactly when I need him. It’s been a great blessing for me!
I’m not sure which Angels “officially” help with either your Mom’s situation (hesitant to see messages for what they are), or yours (wanting to see and feel the connection with your Dad), but Archangel Gabriel (the great messenger) seems ideal. (Archangel Raphael, too, has always been a favorite, being both in charge of healing, and for me the master of “just fix it, please!”.).

Thanks for sharing that. Raphael is indeed a magic worker. Since I started calling on him when I travel no matter how late one of my flights are I ALWAYS make my connecting flights – it has been close but I have always made them!

Hi, Susan I read about another angel, CAMAEL, through your blog, at a time when i was looking for some answers on how to deal with my 14yr-old son, my relationship w my husband, motivation in my work, financial woes and i am currently 6mos pregnant that was discovered with 3 myomas that are feeding on my pregnancy hormones. Overwhelming, right? when i was at my lowest moment as in ready to jump off the hill already, 3 years ago, my feet led me to a religious bookstore and a prayerbook “novena to the 7 archangels” that i didnt hesitate to buy. the results had never stopped amazing me, sometimes just awesone. at first, the revelations were painful, even made me angrier but it was so liberating too. with the little info you gave about Archangel Camael, it was still a delight to me; then my knowledge is not only limited to the 7 main archangels. it had also provided an illuminating light on my slightly dark pathway. how can i learn more about the other archangels? Thanks.
