Aloha,
I love watching the day as it slowly arrives. The sky begins to brighten and the birds start singing, joyfully greeting a new day. I am in Latvia and my internal clock is still on Hawaii time, so I woke up long before the sun.
Last night I had the opportunity to go to a local Reiki circle. Reiki is a form of healing that originated in Japan. The homes here remind me of the old farm houses in Vermont. The trees are full of apples, and there are so many flowers everywhere. Many of the older homes use wood for heat, so there are huge wood piles stacked neatly under the eves. Latvia reminds me of simpler times when people were more connected to the earth.
Aloha,
I am currently in Latvia teaching classes. This is the first time I have been here and what a magical country. Just thought I'd share some images with you. I am staying in the middle of a pine forest and the smells are just wonderful!
With love and aloha,
Susan
Aloha,
A Course in Miracles by Dr. Helen Schucman is a beautifully written course of self-study designed to help you deepen your connection with your divinity. It has a workbook that takes a year to complete. Actually doing the exercises will really change your perspective and allow you to let go of your fear. Here are some quotes from
A Course in Miracles about fear that I find most helpful. Over and over again, the course reminds us that fear is simply the lack of love.
"Only the mind can create fear."
"Perfect love casts out fear. If fear exists, then there is not perfect love." Perfect love refers to the unconditional love that is our true divine nature.
Aloha,

I am currently in Chicago on my way to
Latvia. I slept and slept and slept when I got here. I had some wonderful dreams about feeling loved and
angels. I was reminded once again that we aren't alone.
Katy recently posted a
comment about a nurse that helped her family during a very serious car accident. I am sure the nurse was an angel. I can't tell you how many times I hear stories like this and how many times
angels have showed up in my life.
Aloha,
Here are some incredibly beautiful and peaceful pictures of
Lithuania. Next week, I will be able to share some pictures from
Latvia with you!
With love and aloha,
