Aloha,
Tuesday I wrote a post about Ministering angels. When I awoke, I heard the news about the tsunami in America Samoa.
I suggest we take a few moments out of our day and imagine ministering angels surrounding everyone affected by the tsunami in American Samoa. Rather than thinking about how sad or what a tragedy it is, focus on sending these people thoughts of love, support, and upliftment. Imagine the island and all the loved ones scattered all over the world being embraced by Ministering angels--soothed, comforted, and feeling the love of the divine.
Aloha everyone,
Here are some images that I enjoy. I find it useful to just sit quietly with them, imagine myself surrounded by the scents, the sounds and the feeling of the place. Breathe deeply and allow your spirit to be engaged.
Enjoy!
With love and aloha,
Susan
Aloha,
I love the idea of ministering angels. Here is an excerpt from my book,
The Encyclopedia of Angels, Spirit Guides and Ascended Masters:
Ministering angels are created each morning to bring gratitude, comfort and joy into the universe and are reabsorbed into the divine ethers every evening. These angels minister to any being in need of divine assistance. In some traditions they are considered the highest order of angel, while in other systems they are considered to be at the bottom of the angel hierarchy.
It isn't clear how many Ministering angels there are, but when you need the services of one, rest assured there are more than enough Ministering angels to go around. Although nameless, they are a very powerful force of healing and come readily when they are invited. When you awaken in the morning ask for their guidance, love and direction. If you are feeling ill ask them to heal your physical body.
Aloha to each and everyone of you,

A big Mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) to everyone that sent me birthday wishes. People often ask me how to connect with angels, so I thought I would share the story of my birthday hike to the lake at the top of
Mauna Kea and how the angels let me know they were there.
I find working with angels is often a practice of patience, expanded awareness, and paying attention to the details. None of which were one of my talents when I began.
Aloha everyone,
It sure is good to be home. Sunday is my 60th birthday. I find that hard to believe. Inside, I still feel like a kid, and I really never expected to get as 'old' as my Mom. She died when she was 61. Guess it is hanging around all those angels!
Each year before my birthday, I do a mental review of the year, see what I would like to let go of and what I would like to change by next year . I find that the quality of life is vastly improved by the type of questions we ask ourselves. When I ask myself
why did this happen to me, my life changes very little. When I ask myself questions like
what can I do differently the next time, my life gets a whole lot better. You can actually learn to use your fear to lead a fearless life, so here are some questions for
Fearless Fridays.
Here is a teaching story I wrote years ago. The Grandmother and the children sat at the edge of a large stand of tall pine trees. She looked out over the land.
It is time to tune into some images again and let go of your mind and connect with the divine you.
It is time to tune into some images again and let go of your mind and connect with the divine you. This week I am sharing two images of angels from Beliefnet’s social networking site
A woman heard a knock on her door late one night. When she opened the door there were three glorious angles standing before her.
The Angel Museum in Beloit, Wisconsin is having a big event on Monday October 11th as part of Angel Awareness Day.
I ride my bike along the waters edge each day and see so many ordinary angels. I watch the parents walking with their young children, teaching them about life. I watched a young mother teach her young boy about kindness and gentleness while they feed the birds.
Aloha, Today I received an email from someone who had a direct experience of the divine. She had literally seen heaven and felt the unconditional love of the .angelic realms. She was writing to me because she was in tremendous...
Here are some wonderful images to meditate on. Just allow the images to take you to that place of love and connection that lives within us all.
Are you living the life of your dreams? If you aren't chances are it is because you've settled into the familiar world created by your beliefs.
Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt Since I was going to write about how believing in miracles make them much more likely to occur in our lives, this quotes unusual appearance was quite interesting.
Here are some images from Lithuania I thought you might enjoy!
Aloha,I began writing my post for today about Hinduism and then noticed the date, September 11th. I still vividly remember waking up that day and checking my e-mails. For some reason, my e-mail program had developed a quirk; it would...
The other day I talked about the power and the gift of being of service. Perhaps you could create a 'be an angel exchange' within your own group of friends.
These are images from Lithuania that speak to my spirit the most and places that I have sat quietly in meditation.
When a child dies or someone is murdered they ask why God let it happen. Personally, I don't believe God causes suffering. God only creates perfection, love, peace and joy.
This morning I wake up dreaming about my father's last few breaths and feeling myself dying, a pretty nightmarish experience. As I woke up I heard the lyrics "Hark the herald angels singing" which was very comforting.
Buddhism teaches us to align ourselves with our spirit and from that perspective there is nothing to fear because we are immortal, eternal and infinite.

Affirmations are a very powerful way to change both our thinking and the circumstances in our life.
Travel certainly gives us the opportunity to step out of all of our habits and routines. Lithuania is an incredibly magic and wonderful land. Here are some of my favorite images.
Gratitude has the ability to return us to that childlike nature where we are amazed and excited by all of life and are connected to God in a concrete and constructive manner.
