Wordless Wednesday: paradise found

posted by Susan Gregg | 12:00am Wednesday January 27, 2010

I have the good fortune to live in Hawaii. Most mornings I take my dog for a bike ride to help get rid of some of her excess energy. Yesterday morning I saw the most beautiful rainbow. I love rainbows and think of them as a gift from God reminding me that I am loved. I hope you allow these images to fill you with a sense of peace and love. Somehow the photos never do them justice but the love is still there.

Remember rainbows require sun and rain to exist, that duality or contrast often gives meaning to our lives.

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO VISIT THE ISLAND OF OAHU SEVERAL YEARS BACK WITH MY FAMILY. WE STAYED UP IN THE NORTH BEACH AREA, ALTHOUGH WE VISITED EVERYTHING WE COULD IN 10 DAYS. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL ISLAND. I LOVED THE PEOPLE WE MET FROM THE ISLAND. EVERYDAY IT SEEMED WE SAW RAINBOWS AND THEY WERE LIKE A GIFT FROM GOD DAILY! THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME OF THE BEAUTY OF MOTHER NATURE IN ESPECIALLY NOW IN OUR GRAY DARK WINTER MONTHS ON THE EAST COAST OF U.S. DONNA FROM CAPE MAY
