Angels on Your Shoulder

Holy Week, Passover and the Middle East

Before God manifested Himself, when all things were still hidden in Him…He began by forming an imperceptible point; that was His own thought. With this thought He then began to construct a mysterious and holy form…the Universe.  ~  Zohar

Have you ever wondered why a small area of land gave birth to three major religions? Or why it is such a volatile place, where countless wars have been fought and where violence still occurs on a regular basis? I know I have, a lot.

I am fascinated by the Middle East. Imagine walking into Jerusalem with Jesus as he entered the city or hearing Moses demand his people be set free. Or walking along side Muhammad hearing him share some of his insights.

All these great religious leaders lived in the same part of the world. I have had the privaledge of visiting Egypt on several occasions and love the sights and sounds of the area. I can easily imagine the walking the streets with these men. How would your life be different if you had the opportunity to walk a mile with any of those men? What questions would you ask them?

Gabriel spoke to Muhammad and he went on to share those insights and love. He retreated to a cave to meditate and is considered the founder of Islam. Little is known about the early life of Jesus and how he achieved his profound connection with the holy spirit.

I would love to know what Jesus did for the first 30 years of his life. I would love to sit and talk with him about spirituality, look into his eyes and ask him about love. I can imagine talking with Muhammad about his meditations and asking about his relationship with the Archangel Gabriel. I’d love to watch Moses as he grew up and hear him speak to the Pharaoh.

What questions would you ask?

With love and aloha,
Susan

Thoughts on the Boston Bombing
Ever wondered why people chose to hurt one another? I have pondered that question over the years. As a child I was profoundly distressed by violence and what I perceived as cruelty. I often get e mails from people asking me the same thing.  I have come to the conclusion that we can only hurt

What is an angel?
I get that question a lot. The best answer I have is they are pure, expansive unconditional love. They embrace us always. They surround us with their love and I've been told that unless we ask they won't interfere in our lives. I guess that is true except my life has been saved more than once by som

Angels are your friends
I get so many e mails asking me how to work with angels. The other day I got a phone call from a woman who had bought my book and wanted to recover some stolen money. As we talked she became more and more disappointed. She seemed to expect the gods to smite this person for what they had done and imm

I was a hairdresser for many years, and one day I saw my own Angel wings, flourescent colors, as real as if another person was standing next to me. Have a blessed day.
