Angels on Your Shoulder

Passionate joy

posted by Susan Gregg

How do you suppose angels feel about life? If I had to choose two words I would say, “passionate joy.” They see only the perfection in all of life and they are God’s messengers. What other message does that energy of creation have other than love?

When we tune into our spirit we can hear that message, loud and clear. Love, love, love. I often get messages from people asking why they can hear or feel the angles or why angels aren’t working in their lives.

I always remind people that we do have to listen and we also need to believe that we can already hear them. That message of love is all around us if we decide to have the eyes to see it. Their message is easily seen when we allow ourselves to tune into the love and stop listening to our mind’s endless litany of judgment and desire.

But how do we believe if we don’t believe? How do we hear if we have never heard? How do we see the hand of God in everything when we are searching for proof of that presence in our lives?

The short answer is by having gratitude. What does gratitude have to do with feeling God’s presence and seeing and hearing angels? Everything and nothing. Let me explain.

That energy is always around us we just have to tune in, just like a radio station. If we are on a Jazz station expecting to hear rock we just won’t hear it. We will hear Jazz no matter what we say we want. Gratitude is the best way I know of to tune into the angel/God station. If we feel grateful for what is we will hear the loving voices of the angels and God. If we are busy looking for those voices we are tuned into the doubt station and all you will hear is more doubt.

Gratitude is a short cut that will take you to the station of love every time.

With love and aloha,
Susan

Thoughts on the Boston Bombing
Ever wondered why people chose to hurt one another? I have pondered that question over the years. As a child I was profoundly distressed by violence and what I perceived as cruelty. I often get e mails from people asking me the same thing.  I have come to the conclusion that we can only hurt

What is an angel?
I get that question a lot. The best answer I have is they are pure, expansive unconditional love. They embrace us always. They surround us with their love and I've been told that unless we ask they won't interfere in our lives. I guess that is true except my life has been saved more than once by som

What a interesting question Susan.
I think the Angels feel joy in helping us, guiding us and rejoice when we are open and finally get the message. I like you, believe that these messages are all around us and come in many different forms and all we need to do is be open to them. For me when I feel Angels around me I feel filled with love but also often want to laugh. It is a light, playful energy that is infectious, spontaneous and always puts me a very positive, motivated mood.

Whenever I talk to the angels about some matters I sometimes get very teary eyed due to emotion and feel very warm and talking becomes difficult to continue. My tears are not from sadness. Do you think the angels are causing me to have such a reaction out of joy?

Sounds like tears of love and joy to me. My suggestion would be to talk through the tears. That is wonderful that your connection elicits such strong emotion.
