Fearless Friday: courage

posted by Susan Gregg

Fear is an indication we have disconnected from our source, from the divine and are believing in the illusion created by our filter system. Sometimes it takes real courage to be who and what we really are.

When we know, really know we are that limitless energy of love it is so much easier to have the courage to be, to simply be ourselves and ask for what we want. Angels never waver in their connection with the divine, they never compromise, they never judge. They just swim in a sea of love and freely share that essence with anyone willing to open their heart and mind.

Pray and surrender. Let go of your beliefs about life and pray. Learn to see life through the eyes of the angels. A life surrounded in love, lived from love and free of fear is also filled with magic and miracles on a daily basis. Surrender to your spirit, surrender to love and see what happens.

As the saying goes even the longest journey begins with the first step. Surrender your beliefs lovingly to love and see what happens. As soon as you have a judgment you are no longer one with the divine, so surrender your judgments and live life fully.

Thoughts on the Boston Bombing
Ever wondered why people chose to hurt one another? I have pondered that question over the years. As a child I was profoundly distressed by violence and what I perceived as cruelty. I often get e mails from people asking me the same thing.  I have come to the conclusion that we can only hurt

What is an angel?
I get that question a lot. The best answer I have is they are pure, expansive unconditional love. They embrace us always. They surround us with their love and I've been told that unless we ask they won't interfere in our lives. I guess that is true except my life has been saved more than once by som

Angels are your friends
I get so many e mails asking me how to work with angels. The other day I got a phone call from a woman who had bought my book and wanted to recover some stolen money. As we talked she became more and more disappointed. She seemed to expect the gods to smite this person for what they had done and imm

Why does one pray? I do not believe in a “higher” power, I believe that the power is dispersed within all of us so that the total is greater than the sum of its parts. Prayer is the antithesis of that.

Why I pray is it helps me connect. Prayer, for me, is just a way of connecting with that energy. It isn’t a please help me kind of thing. It is more of an acknowledgment that I am one with everything.
My mind or my ego self certainly isn’t one with everything. So when I let go of that I can connect with the part of me that is.
With love and aloha,
Susan
