I love Doreen Virtue’s book Archangels 101. Zadkiel is also one of my favorite angels. He focuses on forgiveness and memory so you can heal any emotional pain from the past.
People so often ask me how to connect with angels and I reassure people it is easy. Just open your heart and your mind, listen for their loving guidance and then make sure you take action. Taking action is our roles as human beings giving us guidance and allowing us the act based on our free will is the angles part of the agreement.
I love the way Doreen talks about connecting with angels.
“The vast majority of angels and archangels are helpful, loving, trustworthy and benevolent. If you wish to know whether to trust one, do research and rely on your bodies reacting to the angel’s name. If you feel relaxed and happy as you contemplate it, this is a good sign! If you ever have any uncomfortable feelings with a person, spirit angel or anyone else then please head this red flag and avoid that being in the future.” from Angels 101 page 139.
The same is true for our thoughts as well. How does fear or anger make you feel? We create our emotions by our thoughts or inner dialog and we can change that if we want. Practice thinking thoughts of gratitude, laughter, love and joy on a regular basis and watch your life change for the better.
