As I was thinking about writing this blog post Mary kept showing up. I have a Google alert set for Miracles and there was Mary. I found numerous stories about Medjugorje where Mary is said to appear regularly. This Beatle song kept running though my mind.
So here is Mary:
This is an excerpt from my book The Complete Encyclopedia of Angels:
Mother Mary
Mother Mary has many names and has appeared in many forms to all of mankind. She is the ultimate symbol of divine love. Her capacity to love is beyond most human’s ability to fathom. Her perfect love can cast out all of your fears and allow you to reach your highest potential. Her perfect unconditional love will allow you to let go of your limiting beliefs, including any beliefs you have about yourself and the world that cause you to reject the abundance life freely offers you. Mary will remind you that you are a limitless being of light and that all of your limitations and all of your suffering is caused by your belief in separation.
Mary will show you how to bring to fruition a life based on a divine connection and a profound knowing of your oneness with everyone and to everything in the universe. She will teach you how to create heaven on earth by letting go of your old self image and embracing god’s image of you instead. Her love is so unconditional and all encompassing that she sees only the perfection in everyone and everything
Open your heart and your mind to her. Ask for the willingness to completely surrender any beliefs you have about yourself and see life from her perspective. Notice your judgments and ask Mary to help you see things differently. When you feel fear ask her to fill you with love. If you ask Mary for her help but instead focus on your old beliefs she can’t help you. So ask for her help with an open heart and an open mind.
Invocation:
Roses are sacred to Mary and for centuries people have used rosary beads when praying to her. Prayer beads are common in many traditions and can be a useful tool for focusing your attention. If you feel called to use them do so. If not, simply ask Mary for her help and she will be there. She is the beloved Mother who is always near by, at the edge of your reality waiting for you to invite her closer.
Mary will:
Love you unconditionally
Guide you and help you feel connected
Heal your relationships
Create abundance
Show you how to follow your bliss
Calling the angels into your home
With love and aloha,
Susan

A few weeks ago there was a blood drive at my gym; I literally had to walk by there to get to my car after my workout. Despite being a Universal Donor, I had not donated in a long time due to having a bad experience and becoming ill the last time I donated. I decided to go ahead and face that fear. I found out I was eligible for a special procedure called apheresis or something where the needles are much smaller and your donation is used by cancer and leukemia patients. I’m the only female in my family of origin without cancer. I closed my eyes and invoked my guardian angels, but everyone else I found myself invoking was specifically female. Mother Mary, Bridget, my first dog Rosebud, etc. And of course they all came. I was calm, and all was well. I guess what I really wanted was mothering and protection. Someone to hold my hand and protect me and tell me they are proud of me and that everything would be OK. I wanted the mother I never had in this life. And when the rubber met the road, I got it. Thanks, Mary. I plan to donate again when I’m eligible in four months, which coincidentally, will be Christmas Day.
