A money box, the economy and angels

Aloha,

Yesterday I wrote a post about creating an Angel Box. Today I am going to show you how to change your beliefs and your experience with money, the economy, and the source of your income.

I love making things. I could easily get lost in a craft store for hours. A friend of mine showed me how to paint furniture, and I created all sorts of beautiful altars and meditation benches. I had a wire basket I used to put all my bills in. It was purple and held lots of bills, but my cat used to wake me up every morning by noisily pawing through all the papers. So I decided to put them in a box instead. At the time, I was working on changing my beliefs about money, and an idea was born.

Heaven on earth

Aloha,

I am finally home and to say the least jet lagged! Here is a teaching story I wrote years ago. I hope you enjoy it.

The Grandmother and the children sat at the edge of a large stand of tall pine trees. She looked out over the land.

"We are the land's caretakers and we must always plant more than we use. If you cut a tree you must plant at least two more. The Mother will always provide for us but in thanks for her love we must also care for her just as we care for one another.

Three little angels

Aloha,

I am not sure where or when I read this story, but it has stayed with me for many years. I hope you enjoy it and if you know its origin please let me know.

A woman heard a knock on her door late one night. When she opened the door, there were three glorious angels standing before her. She stood there speechless. The first angel said she was the angel of health, and she told her that she could only invite one of the three angels into her home and her life. The second angel told her she was the angel of abundance, and the third angel told her she was the angel of love. They said they would be back in the morning for her answer and, in a swirl of beautiful lights, they disappeared.

An angel-filled new day

Aloha,

I love watching the day as it slowly arrives. The sky begins to brighten and the birds start singing, joyfully greeting a new day. I am in Latvia and my internal clock is still on Hawaii time, so I woke up long before the sun.

Last night I had the opportunity to go to a local Reiki circle. Reiki is a form of healing that originated in Japan. The homes here remind me of the old farm houses in Vermont. The trees are full of apples, and there are so many flowers everywhere. Many of the older homes use wood for heat, so there are huge wood piles stacked neatly under the eves. Latvia reminds me of simpler times when people were more connected to the earth.

Be an angel week: why do angels attract you

Aloha,

Here is a picture a friend sent me of a tiny little angel. She is rumored to bring abundance to anyone who opens their heart and  shares her love. What a wonderful way to handle the economy!

I'm not sure where she came from originally.  If you do, please let me know.

What sort of house does fear build?

One of the things I love about angels is the feeling of love that they bring. Even if people are very cynical they are often willing to allow for the possibility that the parking angel exists and are willing to...

About Pele
Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano as well as the goddess of transformation, passion, vitality and creation. Pele is a powerful force on the Hawaiian islands. Shortly after I moved to Hawaii, a friend suggested I have my property blessed. I asked Pele if I could live and work on her land. She graciously agreed, so I always take time to thank her and ask for her blessing in my endeavors.
