How often do you experience fear on a daily basis? Realistically, how can angels help you deal with fear?
I still remember my first day of school. I was so excited about learning and looking forward to having a new adventure. I remember my mom walking me to school, holding my hand. I knew I was safe and walked into that classroom with my head held high. I was so happy about being in school I smiled as my mom left. Most of the other children were crying and I remember the teacher asking me why I wasn't crying too. In hindsight I wasn't crying because I felt safe and viewed school as a big adventure.

Angels, candles and prayer
I love the gentle flicker of candle light. Even though I wasn't raised Catholic I have always loved going into old churches and Cathedrals to light a candle. Often when I want to pray I will light a candle on my altar first. When someone is going through a tough time and they ask me to pray for them I will light a candle as I say my prayer and then allow the candle to burn out on its own.Angels are often pictured with a gentle candle like glow around them. When I think of their loving touch in my life I certainly think of the warmth of candles. I find lighting a candle a wonderfu lway to call upon the angels.

Oscar the cat: a loving angel of death
Scientist Dr. David Dosa wrote a book entitled "Making Rounds With Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat." Oscar is a resident of a nursing home who has the uncanny ability to know when someone is about to die and curls up next to them as they pass over. Oscar brought comfort to the families because they knew their loved ones wouldn't die alone.

Angels come in all shapes
Kayla Kammrad, 22, spent the last four months in the hospital battling H1N1 flu. At one point the doctors told her mother it was time to take her off life support but instead she prayed and asked God for to send her daughter an angel. Shortly after that a young man came into the room and introduced himself as Bobby Angel.
Kayla is home from the hospital now slowly regaining her health. Did Bobby Angel make a difference? Who is to say but a woman the doctors had almost given up on is now home with her two sons. You can read the whole story here.

Legion - angel the movie?
I have read lots of reviews about the latest angel movie Legion and almost all of the reviewers seem to agree the movie just doesn't quite make the grade. I saw some trailers and I know none of them made me want to go see it. I'd love to hear what your opinion was if you did go to see it.
Somehow a grandmother demon and machine gun carrying angels just don't do much for me. I must admit I enjoyed the movie Avatar but I was also disappointed that once again the solution was violence. The movie was beautiful and touching but when will we realize there are other solutions?
