Angels only have one answer: love

Aloha,

Years ago I realized that no matter what the question love is always the answer and no matter what sort of problem we are having if we respond with love the results are far superior. Angels only have one response to anything: love. They just don't have the capacity to judge anyone or anything. Imagine what would happen to your life if you were freed from any thoughts of judgment.

I frequently get questions about forgiveness. When we feel wronged or betrayed by someone it is often a struggle to even entertain the idea of forgiveness no less actually forgive them. Yet if we see things through the eyes of love we are free of the judgment that creates the need for forgiveness.

All Saints Day

Aloha,

Today is the day to celebrate all saints, known and unknown. I wasn't raised Catholic, so I knew very little about saints until I wrote my book "Encyclopedia of Angels, Spirit Guides and Ascended Masters."  I found the saints absolutely fascinating. I used to mistakenly think saints were about suffering and martyrdom when, in fact, they were amazing men and women who had managed to profoundly connect to the divine.

A money box, the economy and angels

Aloha,

Yesterday I wrote a post about creating an Angel Box. Today I am going to show you how to change your beliefs and your experience with money, the economy, and the source of your income.

I love making things. I could easily get lost in a craft store for hours. A friend of mine showed me how to paint furniture, and I created all sorts of beautiful altars and meditation benches. I had a wire basket I used to put all my bills in. It was purple and held lots of bills, but my cat used to wake me up every morning by noisily pawing through all the papers. So I decided to put them in a box instead. At the time, I was working on changing my beliefs about money, and an idea was born.

Making an angel box

Aloha,

A while back I posted about my angel box and, afterward, I received several emails asking me how to make one. I've been thinking about making one and taking pictures, but I know the likelihood of that happening any time soon is probably nil and zip. Over the years, I have found that actually doing something is far better than thinking about doing it, so here are the step-by-step directions for making an angel box.

You can make it very simple or very elaborate, but the most important thing you can do, if you really want to change your life, is to make it and use it!

Halloween History - witch story to believe

Aloha,

Halloween has long been one of my favorite holidays. When I was little I loved dressing up to go trick or treating and bringing home lots of candy. My mom always made my Halloween costumes. One year she made me look like a monkey from the Wizard of Oz. The tail had a wire in it and as soon as I stepped out of the front door the neighborhood's dogs took off in pursuit. She said I grabbed my tail and ran as fast as I could while she laughed hysterically.

As do most holidays Halloween has its roots in several different traditions.  In the Celtic tradition it was called Samhain (pronounced sow-in) and it was the celebration of the harvest and the end of a year. Traditionally all the fires were extinguished and the hearths cleaned to honor the changing of the seasons. Then torches would be light from one great fire and all the hearths would be relight and kept burning until the next year.

About Pele
Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano as well as the goddess of transformation, passion, vitality and creation. Pele is a powerful force on the Hawaiian islands. Shortly after I moved to Hawaii, a friend suggested I have my property blessed. I asked Pele if I could live and work on her land. She graciously agreed, so I always take time to thank her and ask for her blessing in my endeavors.
