Aloha everyone,
When I first moved to Hawaii I held classes on healing the inner
child. Interestingly enough 20 years later I was asked to speak at a
The Center for Spiritual Living in Waikoloa on the month that the theme
is the divine child. So I decided to speak about the divine inner
child. Funny how things come full circle.
Whenever I am asked to speak I begin to meditate on the topic and I
am often pleasantly surprised by what comes up. I may try to record the
talk and post an MP3 on my web site.
I know most of my readers live all over the world, but for you lucky
few that do live in Hawaii I invite you to join me on December 6th, at
9:30 AM. The service begins with a meditation. The Center for Spiritual
Living meets at the Waikoloa Elementary School Library (at the end of
Paniolo Avenue in Waikoloa Village). Meditation begins at 9:30 a.m.
Regular services begin at 10:00 a.m.

Yesterday I challenged you to do several random acts of kindness and then today I received a message about an organization called
Charter for Compassion.
This is their mission:

calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated
ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the
suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the
centre of our world and put another there, and to honor the inviolable
sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without
exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.
But how can this affect your life if you are unemployed, underemployed, having health challenges or just simply afraid? Read on.....

I ran across this story the other day and it reminded me of my road angels. One day my car broken down in a tunnel where people regularly drove 60 MPH. I was almost hit and two men in a pick up pulled up in front of me, hooked on a rope and pulled my car to safety. They left before I could even say thank you. I know they saved me from having a terrible accident.
This angel saved Janel a lot of heartache. Random acts of kindness make us feel better, help another person, even if we remain anonymous and definitely make the world a better place. I challenge you to do two good deeds this week.

I ran across a blog post I really liked the other day about miracles by
emettruth. In Jewish tradition, the word we translate "miracle" is nes. A nes is a sign, like a flag, waiving above a building or a marker, drawing your attention to something special. I thought about the idea of miracles as flag posts or markers of the special things in our lives and as I looked at my life, I saw a lot of miracles. What if you saw everything special in your life as a miracle? How would that make you feel about your life? Play with the idea and see what happens.

My mind is swimming with thoughts today, instead of a gentle trickle it feel more like a flood driven raging river and I have learned over the years that's a good thing.

I ride my bike along the waters edge each day and see so many ordinary angels. I watch the parents walking with their young children, teaching them about life. I watched a young mother teach her young boy about kindness and gentleness while they feed the birds.

This morning I wake up dreaming about my father's last few breaths and feeling myself dying, a pretty nightmarish experience. As I woke up I heard the lyrics "Hark the herald angels singing" which was very comforting.
The third Friday of the month is dedicated to ordinary angels. This month I honor Soldier's angels, people that save the life of a badly wounded horse and share pictures and angels swimming.
Be an angel and help me give people the gift of clean water. We take fresh water for granted. We open the tap and there it is, but in so many places on this planet clean water is a luxury.
These images aren't spots on the lens or fake. They are balls of energy, spirit orbs or perhaps angels captured at a recent meditation circle.
Belief in angels can have a profound influence on a person's life. Developing one's ability to talk to angels can really make a difference.
