Aloha everyone,
When I first moved to Hawaii I held classes on healing the inner
child. Interestingly enough 20 years later I was asked to speak at a
The Center for Spiritual Living in Waikoloa on the month that the theme
is the divine child. So I decided to speak about the divine inner
child. Funny how things come full circle.
Whenever I am asked to speak I begin to meditate on the topic and I
am often pleasantly surprised by what comes up. I may try to record the
talk and post an MP3 on my web site.
I know most of my readers live all over the world, but for you lucky
few that do live in Hawaii I invite you to join me on December 6th, at
9:30 AM. The service begins with a meditation. The Center for Spiritual
Living meets at the Waikoloa Elementary School Library (at the end of
Paniolo Avenue in Waikoloa Village). Meditation begins at 9:30 a.m.

My mind is swimming with thoughts today; instead of a gentle trickle, it feels more like a flood-driven raging river, and I have learned over the years that's a good thing.

A friend of mine sent me a chain e-mail that said if you passed it along, your wish would come true. It contained a beautiful prayer that got me thinking about angels and the power of prayer. When I look at the world today, what I see is a hunger, a hunger that can only be filled with a deep and profound connection to our spirit.
Last night, I had an amazing dream in which I was talking to some people about the power of grace. Grace wasn't something I had thought a whole lot about, but after the dream, I felt very loved and curious. Then, today, my friend sent me this prayer.

A while back I posted about my
angel box and, afterward, I received several emails asking me how to make one. I've been thinking about making one and taking pictures, but I know the likelihood of that happening any time soon is probably nil and zip. Over the years, I have found that actually doing something is far better than thinking about doing it, so here are the step-by-step directions for making an angel box.
You can make it very simple or very elaborate, but the most important thing you can do, if you really want to change your life, is to make it and use it!

Halloween has long been one of my favorite holidays. When I was little I loved dressing up to go trick or treating and bringing home lots of candy. My mom always made my Halloween costumes. One year she made me look like a monkey from the Wizard of Oz. The tail had a wire in it and as soon as I stepped out of the front door the neighborhood's dogs took off in pursuit. She said I grabbed my tail and ran as fast as I could while she laughed hysterically.
As do most holidays Halloween has its roots in several different traditions. In the Celtic tradition it was called
Samhain (pronounced sow-in) and it was the celebration of the harvest and the end of a year. Traditionally all the fires were extinguished and the hearths cleaned to honor the changing of the seasons. Then torches would be light from one great fire and all the hearths would be relight and kept burning until the next year.
Since this is breast cancer awareness month I thought I would post about my favorite Saint, St. Agatha. Her story is horrendous and yet she died in peace. Her connection to her divinity was so deep she had only love and compassion for those who sought to do her harm.
Chamuel’s name means “He who seeks God.” He is often described as “pure love in a winged form.”
Our minds are a magnificent tool. They were just never meant to be in control. When our spirit is in control, we begin to experience a reality that is free of fear and limitation.
Angels are all about love. Love, love, love. As it says in the Tao, "Give evil nothing to oppose and it will disappear by itself."
The more we stay connected and grounded within the angelic realms the more magical and blissful our life can become. If you take these steps everyday for the next 21 days your life will change in ways you couldn't even imagine.

Affirmations are a very powerful way to change both our thinking and the circumstances in our life.
As I watch the dawn I am once again reminded that each day is a new beginning, a story yet to be written and I can write anything I want on the pages that follow. I say a prayer and ask to be guided so that all my thoughts and actions are loving.
