Astrotheology: The Sun of God

Monday January 8, 2007

Red Ice Creations is a riveting site with lots to offer the conspiracy-minded and seekers of truth and interesting miscellany. A recent article linked from Red Ice suggests the idea that the Sun actually is god, and the so-called Sun...

I commend you Lynn, for your knowledge and intuition in bringing up this Sun/God matter.
I also couldn't help noticing and enjoying your lapsus keybordi (this is modern Latin pidgin): procession instead of precession of the equinoxes. It triggered images of vernal equinox points religiously following each other along the ages.
My name is M.Racine and recently some psychic called me Martine Ra-sign.
Life is full of sunlight fun

Wow! That IS interesting. I knew that the Virgin Birth was taken from a number of other myths, but this makes the whole Jesus/Messiah story nothing more than a complete misunderstanding by people who didn't get it. Which of course makes it strangely appropriate that the current occupant of the White House believes it so fervently.

oops, my connection went down, so this might post twice!
just wanted to say I have the book 'The Christ Conspiracy', and it's a FAB read. Highly recommended for anyone, but especially for anyone interested in astrology

Barbara, I will get the book. It does sound fascinating. I have long been interested in the lies that are built around monotheistic religion which I believe simply keeps people oppressed.

Jill, I think your idea of a "misunderstanding" doesn't tell the whole story, it's more likely to be a cover-up by rulers like Constantine who used Christianity to rule the world.

And Martine, thank you for your kind words but I can't take credit for this - I simply found it on the Red Ice website which has so much great stuff.

I like the Ra-sign, very cool

All right you found it (or it found you), but nobody forced you to post it. You had to estimate it valuable and relevant to today's issues. I persist in calling it an educated intuition.
I'll bet you anything we will be hearing more and more about the Sun, because it's already coming from many unexpected sources

Thanks so much for posting this. When I think about the good-hearted people throughout history who have been killed because of New Testament passages like John 14:6 it makes me sad. If only more people realised the truth.
