The first time I had a natal chart done, I was off on the birthtime I told her by less than half an hour. I didn't imagine it would matter, but I told the astrologer the corrected one. Surprisingly to me, the chart changed in ways that made it more accurate. Just half an hour. I suppose there'd be other times where it'd matter less but in that case, it was significant
The ascendant changes by one degree every four minutes, so a half hour would make a 7 or 8 degree difference. That can change the sign on the ascendant which changes the whole personality description, and shift planets from one house to another
