Astrology is an incredibly complex field of study, but don’t be discouraged if you feel a little overwhelmed. I’ve got lots of resources for you to get started:
First, read the introduction to astrology on my blog. This outlines the basic concepts.
Second, go to my website and start with the Introduction, which outlines the history of astrology and talks about how astrology is typically used.
Next, open the article entitled Meet the Planets! This article will explain the symbology of the planets, Sun and Moon.
Finally, explore the article on what the signs and houses are all about.
Soon I’ll be posting an audio class for beginners that will also be helpful. Ask questions here – everyone has something to contribute!

I remembered the Moon was full tonight when it shone so brightly through my window that I had trouble sleeping!

Very nice, Lynn! Your blog’s new home is shaping up nicely.
I had trouble getting to sleep last night too. Full Moon makes my mind buzz . . .

So how does this affect our candidates? Phil is gone or is he? Obama is traveling the globe, but where? Did McCain’s loose lips cause problems?

Congratulations on your new move. Hope it brings you all wonderful things.
Just wondering if there’s a way to set posts to full post instead of abbreviated in our readers. That would be fantastic if you could.

Lynn, congratulations on your new home! May blessings and light continue to flow for you.
In my location, the Full Moon looked just like the illustration, a glowing, deep red, awesome and eerie at the same time. With a lot of Cancer placements in my chart (ASC, ME, VE, and SA), I usually experience strong reactions to full moons. Even though that red moon held a spooky fascination for me, it also kind of creeped me out.
I’m interested to see what the next weeks will bring.

How amazing, Sunny, to see a red moon like this. Ours was white, white, white as a laser moonbeam.
