The Comet Cometh – the astrology of Lulin’s approach

posted by Lynn Hayes

Lulin2.jpgphoto from Spaceweather. Comet Lulin will make its closest approach to Earth on February 24.  Joseph Mina wrote in the comments a few days ago, “ interesting how Comet Lulin, whose orbital movement is opposite (clockwise) the planets, will conjunct Saturn during the current Saturn/Uranus opposition. Wonder what message this “uranian type” cosmic messenger has to share?”

(See earlier article here.)  This Comet is particularly Uranian because its orbit is in the opposite direction from other planetary bodies.  It does not appear to have a regular visitation pattern, and coming during this intense Aquarian time perhaps it brings a message of surprises that come out of nowhere to completely change our world.

Comet Lulin is making its visitation on the day of the New Moon, when six planets are in Aquarius and the New Moon is in Pisces.  Pisces is the sign of transcendence, where ordinary reality becomes blurred and we become open to higher powers, divine beings, and creative inspiration.  Combined with the sudden electrical surprises of Uranus and Aquarius, the transcendence of Pisces creates an openness to the spiritual realms that can be quite intense.

The comet will be traveling through Virgo when it is visible, and it will be very close to Saturn so it will set off the opposition of Saturn and Uranus.  The New Moon also forms a sextile to Pluto, so there is a transformational element at work here.  The symbology of the Comet, a temporary visitor to the Universe in the midst of this planetary festival, suggests to me a dramatic turn of events that gets our attention!

For Lulin and the New Moon set up which you see as spiritual and dramatic I can supply one possible if rather wild speculation for the record. Shortly before last Christmas the Maitreya cult led by Benjamin Creme in London ambitiously declared that early in the new year a star would appear and that it could even be like the star of Christ’s birth (which many believe was a comet, though I and many don’t).
It was said that a week of so after this phenomenon was seen in the heavens Maitreya, not specifically declared as such but recognizable to followers and aware persons, would give a first media interview through US television expressing his philosophy towards a changed world. This would be the true beginning of the career of this person who is a returned Christ, the Mahdi of Muslims, Krishna of Hinduism and so on.
I am not exactly expectant this person(if he even exists) will appear on cue – he’s been promised to appear to media before! – and surely Lulin has got to be the cult’s last chance for any early in the new year forecast of unusual heavenly signs. But if it should happen then there would be various interesting implications and some tie-ins astrologically to note which I could mention in due course.

If one was to think of a comet as a positive sign to the world, then one could hardly hope for more than for the comet to pass the star Regulus, which Lulin will pass on 28 2 2009. Numerologically an interesting date, as is the date of the comet’s discovery, 11 7 2007.

Thanks Rollan, that’s an interesting bit of news.
And Astron, the connection of the comet to Regulus is particularly interesting because it’s at the last or critical degree of Leo and moving into Leo in just a few years.

but the person who posted theat first comment is right! THERE HAS a new light in the skies. It’s currently believed to just be the light from the comet Lulin, posied somewhere around Saturn,. I, however, think otherwise. For one: this object is far too bright to be just a comet near Saturn, and it only gorws brighetr by the day. I think it’s something more; something serious that people need to be made aware of. I’m hoping and praying it’s not a Deep Impact scenario, whereas they knew about the asteroid that hit later in the movie, but kept it quiet for years in an attempt to buy time for an effective survival plan. While I support the plan in favor of reducing panic and social collapse as danger approaches, I do NOT believe people should be kept in the dark until its made known for sure its going to hit. If this is, in fact, an object on course to intersect with Earth, the general public needs to know NOW, rather than later. Especially when we can see the damn thing so close.
If it starts fading away after February 24 as the astronomy reports suggest, I’ll eat my hat. If not, then God help us all. But If astrologers are noting it, Astronomers are doubting its trajectory, and general people themselves are seeing something funny in the night sky they didn’t see before…
then should we start DOING something now?

Paradigm Change is Here Now!

posted February 23, 2009 at 3:28 pm

We ARE doing something now. The paradigm change has happened. We are living it now but too habituated in our bodies. We ARE the change, each of us choosing to live sustainable, informed. We are all extrusions of the world reflecting upon itself and as such are all interconnected at a deep level which transcends superficial differences.
You all know it. You know it deep.
Now is the time, regardless of whether a “leader” emerges. It IS each of us. Each of us choosing to live clean. We are our own messiah and don’t wait for someone else to tell you what to do.
Internet connects us all now. It is a web which catches our hopes and dreams and spreads them out like a cozy blanket over the world of human decision. We all have personal responsibility for THIS new eon.
Every culture has their own legend. One of my favorites follows: There’s an old Jewish legend from at least rabbinic days of the “Lamed Vav Tzaddikim” whose daily acts of lovingkindness sustain the world. The legend goes that when those hidden Tzaddikim come to know themselves and the other 36 then the entire world will shift for the better–like a seed crystal being added to supersaturated solution. Some people call it Moshiac, others the Second Coming, a Messianic Age, the New Aeon, Utopia– I call it Sustainable.
Each of us is a hidden Tzaddik. We each have chances to make choices which will either uphold or destroy the world. One decision at a time. Take it up. If we all take it up there WILL be a massive change in awareness which will never be reversed or unsettled or overthrown because it is based on authentic individuals living sustainably using their talents to benefit the world in context.
Sustainable. One by one, thousand by thousand, world by world. We are like toddlers yelling for mommy. Let’s all grow up together. Each by each.

Mon deiu, crazy fanatics much?
Lulin is the strange light,
Stop making up your own theories.
If people, qualified people, say that we’re all gonna die,
Well, we’re all gonna die.
Stop chasing the Apocalypse.
It’ll come when it wants.
For now, settle down with some wine and watch the comet go by.

I believe the word you are looking for in the last paragraph is symbolism…. not symbology. Probably cause symbology isn’t a real word.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon earth distress of nations; with perplexity; the sea (of the Sacred Letter in the Church) and waves roaring. Men’s heart failing them for fear, and (heart failure for lack of reception in Aquarian Spirit Power) for looking after those things which are coming on earth (of which are in want of force of Cosmic Power) for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (from the Olympic unto the Aquarian Power). – St> Luke, 21:25, 26. – Aubra, 314:13.

Lulin by number 3 + 3 + 3 + 9 + 5 = 20 or 2. Two is the number of recreation the feminine replkication of the first one. Comets have since very ancient times been undertood to mean a message from deep within the zoon. So as we follow the course of the trajectory we observe the various notations that the pretty green light enters our awareness through upright standard of Libra, meaning balance, follwing a descending course along the shaft of the fulcrum. The standard in the Great Mystery Wisdom is the Djed Column of Osiris, the backbone in symbolism. The backbone forms the standard of judgment for the Divine in humanity which is weighed upon the scale or morals and ethic of the heart as prescribed in the first Aquarius.

Follow the axiom: As above, so below. Follow the Spirtual Law of Correspondence. Make the observation and the summation thereof.
Trabsiting through Virgo, the Viriginal Lands of very, very, very ancient Egypt which is not a place but a dominion of consciousness of the First Aquarian Age and the Sun God Osiris Jauns Horse the arrival of the Cosmic Arrown conjoins Saturn as a conjunction in the sign of Leo. This is the sign of the human heart as sealed in the Sphinx. Look at your hospitals.

Saturn has many relationships but here the indication that action is aimed at the errant heart of man whichis drowning in the sins of Saturn whose standard bearer was the first Olympian Deity Hermes Trismejistus. He was the traickster who initiated the Medusa into being and initiated the soul of man to Holy Vanity.
All of this occured in the sign of Pisces whichis the culminating placement of rationality imprisoned in materialism. This is the the sign of the Last Olympian Deity Jesus of Nazareth who is tenth by number. And the First shall be last and the Last First and Uppermost.
Follow the axiom: As above, so below, as within so without. Observe the unfolding of the Spiritual Law of the New Aquarian age becoming in the Law of Correspondence.

A little computation error 3 + 3 + 3 + 9 + 5 = 14/5. Fourteen is considered a number of power. It is half of twenty eight which is the Osirian Master key. Half of that is 14 and the power is directed in the action of the conjunction of Saturn and Lulin which falls upon the heart of man. The sequetial repitition of three forms a bond of completion of a cosmic communication and the nine is the number of the Asbury that has reached a high level of expression until it reaches the second nine which manifests the message of the counter pulse which is the wisdom of the Universal Christ.
