New Moon in Cancer and other planetary news

I realized although I talked about this on my radio show, I didn’t put up a post about the Cancer New Moon.
The past few days have been a particularly powerful time, with the Summer Solstice (with the Sun entering the tropical sign of Cancer) on Sunday and the New Moon yesterday occurring only a day apart.  This links the energy of the change of season that the Solstice brings to the sense of new beginnings of the Cancer New Moon.
Cancer of course is the sign of the family and nurturing those we love, but it also extends to our ancestors, our tribal affiliations, the inheritance of our clan.  Many of us have chosen our own clan and have created new family linkages, and these are extremely important to the development of humanity.  The more aware we become and as our wisdom becomes deeper and broader, the more we need to share it with others rather than stay comfortably protected in a womb of safety.
Cancer does represent the womb, and our desire to be safe from emotional and physical threats.  The New Moon yesterday afternoon was opposed by Pluto, and Pluto is still in opposition to the Sun.  Pluto threatens our safety and forces us to find what is true and powerful within us that we can depend on for our ultimate security.
At the same time, though, we have that beautiful conjunction of Mars to Venus which has been in force for a week or so and peaked on the day of the Solstice, combining the strength and force of Mars with the beauty and sensitivity of Venus, both in the sign of Taurus which is focused on security, peace, and comfort.  Strong Saturn was in an exact trine to both planets on the day of the Solstice, helping us to focus on our own inner strength and develop the resources of the body and soul.
These planetary energies are embedded in the chart of the Solstice and will be with us until the seasons turn again in September for the Equinox.

Earth and concept of womb is associated with the zodiac sign of Taurus, not Cancer. Because plants are planted on earth, not on moon. Taurus is associated with physicality, emergence of child from womb. Cancer is associated with subtlty and sub-conscious. Earth Day is celebrated during Sun in Taurus.
This is interesting to note that http://www.astrodienst.com and Ms. Liz Greene [Virgo Sun Sign; ruled by Mercury] offer free services on the day of Jupiter [Thursday]. While, for their own services, they charge fee. People ruled by Venus also charge fee for their services. In terms of heirarchy, Jupiter or people ruled by Jupiter, must charge the highest fee for providing wisdom and knowledge. Mercury and Venus must be available free of charge. Because advanced learning, executive learning, higher learning is associated with Jupiter, not with Mercury and Venus.
Pakistan has won the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup on 21-6-2009 [21-June-2009] in the United Kingdom at the time of Summer Solstice. The Rising Sign [Original Sign] of Pakistan is Taurus. On 21-6-2009 [21-June-2009], Mars and Venus were in Conjunction in the Zodiac Sign of Taurus. Venus is the ruler of Pakistan’s Rising Sign, Taurus. Venus is in its own Sign in conjunction with Mars.
Ms. Lynn, Thank you so much for the update!
By winning the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan has shown its true Self-Image of moderation, balance, sensual beauty, earthly art of winning & achiement, justice and scale. In other words, zodiac sign of Taurus has won the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup.
This winning of the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup is not only the winning for Pakistan, but also the winning for Israel’s Sun Sign & 8th house and the winning of the 6th House of Health and daily affairs of the United States of America. The wining of the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup by Pakistan has energized the Sun Sign of Israel and 6th House of the United States of America.
The Medium Coeli or the 10th House Pakistan is Aquarius. There is Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron Conjunction in Aquarius in the 10th House of Pakistan. By winning the I.C.C. Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup, the professional & public image of Taurus Pakistan has improved as a moderate and balanced nation. This conjunction also shows that Pakistan is also the Master of the art of earthly affairs.
