TMZ has posted copies of the
birth certificates of Michael Jackson’s children. Many will say that this is an abhorrent violation of the right to privacy of children who have done nothing to put themselves in the spotlight, and I agree. On the other hand, for an astrologer to have verified birth dates and times is an exciting event, so I felt I had to take advantage of it and make note of a few interesting things about the charts of the two kids.
From a psychological perspective, it is fascinating to note that the older son’s name is Prince Michael Joseph Jackson. Not Michael Joseph Jackson Jr,. MJ’s full name, but Prince Michael. MJ was a master of disguise and illusion with a conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune in his chart that likely sat in the Fifth House of creativity and self-expression. He lived in a placed called Neverland. His son became the royal figure that MJ always longed to be. MJ’s daughter, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, absorbed the identity of his beloved mother into his own identity. I suspect that for Michael Jackson, these children were not only an extension of his reality but they probably became his actual reality.
Both of the kids have stressful aspects from Saturn to Mars, suggesting a sense of confinement and inability to express their needs and desires, but they are both people of significant strength of personality despite that. Where Prince Michael has a stellium of five planets in Aquarius, Paris Michael has four planets in Aries (although Saturn is one of them, dampening the enthusiasm and vigor of the Aries planets somewhat). Prince Michael is likely to be extremely creative and with Pluto on the Ascendant he has the potential to be quite powerful in his own right. Paris is far more sensitive and her sensitivity will struggle with the force of her Aries planets and I suspect that she will have a more difficult time. The two children are obviously very connected, with Paris’s Venus conjunct Prince Michael’s Sun, and their Moons forming a nearly exact sextile.
Hopefully these children can survive the circus of litigation that is springing up around the death of their father and go on to live relatively normal lives.
Update: Thanks to my readers who informed me that Michael Jackson’s grandfather was named Prince; I then discovered that his full name was Prince Albert Screws. So unusual names are not so unusual in the Jackson heritage.

When I first saw Paris’ Cancer Moon in the third house (maternal towards siblings) I was like, “perfect!” And then I saw all those 12th house planets and nearly fell off my chair…
What can you say about Prince Michael’s unaspected sun? The only other people I’ve seen with that are Nelson Mandela and Van Gogh.

Blanket’s chart is quite similar to Mj’s (especially if you use the Libra rising.)
Between Paris and MJ: his Moon conjunct her Jupiter, and exactly trine her Moon. Between Paris and Blanket: his Venus conjunct her Jupiter, trine her moon.
The synastry between all the siblings is amazing…

The writer is a nitwit. Prince is a family name. MJ’s maternal grandfather who passed away in 1997, was named Prince. Prince is a family not a desire to be royal. Check facts before inserting foot-in-mouth.

I have to agree with the last comment, although not with the name-calling. Prince is a very common name in some American black families. I was acquainted with a man who was named Prince, and his daughter was Princella. Then there’s Prince Rogers Nelson, better known as Prince, the musician. I’m sure there are other examples.

Niether one of his son’s were named “Prince” On their birth certificate they are listed as Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and the II. He gave them a nickname of “prince and blanket. As far as Paris, her real name as listed is Paris-Katherine. Her middle name is Michael. I ma sick and tied of people making up stories. First and foremost, get these kids name correct.

as much as i usually believe in this kind of stuff, i think you need to get your facts about these kids before you make statements about them, not to mention the fact it is unfair to subject them to the public like this.
the fact is “prince michael” was NAMED AFTER HIS GRAND FATHER!!! his grandfather was known as prince!!michael and the boy’s mother said it them selves, that they named him prince after his great grandfather! and as for the middle names,it is another jackson family tradition-michael and some of his other siblings are named after their father- so i think you need to look at the planets closer!

I can’t blame Lynn for getting the children’s names wrong because they’re almost NEVER correctly used in news articles and there is always confusion when someone is only called by their nickname. The nickname confusion is doubled by the fact “Blanket’s” real name is Prince, but his older brother is called “Prince.”
In Lynn’s defense, M.J. DID have a fascination with royalty and obviously he did not – for better or for worse – live in reality. I didn’t see anything offensive about the article.
Denise, I’m also “Your Name.” Paris’ 12th house planets are not exactly exciting…Having so many planets in the 12th house can be overwhelming, especially assertive me-oriented Aries in the House of sacrifice and the collective. The energy of the planets can be suppressed. But 12th house planets also increase empathy and it forces the person to use the energy constructively. (If you want to look up planet descriptions I recommend CafeAstrology and Bob Marks online.)
All I meant by amazing synastry is that their charts have A LOT of connections(Blanket’s Mercury/Neptune conjunct Prince’s Mercury, Blanket’s Jupiter conjunct Paris’ Moon, and Paris’ Venus conjunct Prince’s Sun as Lynn said.) The point is they seem to have a close, supportive relationship. But that was probably apparent without astrology

The children’s charts definitely show a loving father (despite some frustrations, like the Mars-Saturn aspects Lynn mentioned.)Ceres, the asteroid that enhances any nurturing ability in the chart and shows how we were nurtured, is conjunct Paris’ Sun and Mercury, conjunct Prince’s Mercury and Venus, and conjunct Blanket’s Sun and Uranus. Their charts also reflect intelligence (especially Prince’s) and a concern for others, which is refreshing to see in Hollywood children.
Good job, Michael!
I also see a lot of creativity in all their charts (I’m not getting specific because I know I’m rambling.) Before people accuse me of projecting anything onto the children I should stress that our culture doesn’t usually acknowledge creativity unless it’s glitzy and glamorous.
For instance, Prince’s unaspected Sun shows someone who usually breaks away from the family mold and with all those Aquarius planets he would probably be a great engineer or anything to do with technology.
Paris could be a writer or something where she gets to lead behind the scenes and work with creative people (maybe a film producer? Neptune is important in her chart.)
Blanket has a Mercury/Neptune conjunction and most descriptions say it is a highly musical aspect, but the three people I know personally who have it are good artists in a visual medium…

Sorry to be so late to the party. First of all, thank you for those who emailed me about Prince being MJ’s grandfather’s name. I’ve added that as an update to the post. However, it was not a family name, which is usually considered to be a surname rather than a first name. Prince and Princess are not unusual names for the South in general – an elderly woman I know was named Princess (Prin for short).
Fed Up, however, is incorrect. If you look at the actual birth certificate of the elder son he is clearly listed as “Prince Michael Joseph Jackson.” Blanket, the younger son, is named “Prince Michael Jackson II.”

Are we looking at the same birth certificate? Because if there are two that seems more than a little sketchy…Anyway, this one clearly states: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr.

It’s the same b.c and just to clarify thier names are:
Eldest son- Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., called “Prince.”
Daughter- Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson
Youngest Son- Prince Michael Jackson II, called “Blanket.”

I can see on the “ET” certificate that the 3rd child was called “Prince” but not the 1st son…not that it makes much difference to the overall chart outcomes.
How on earth can MJ get away with not including the mother’s name on Blanket’s official birth certificate?
And if he isn’t the biological father of any of them, isn’t he committing a felony for false statements?
I actually feel sorry for these kids.
They would need all the astrological help to deal with the freakish way they have been brought up.

The mother’s name is on “Blanket’s” (the youngest son’s) birth certificate but it is blacked out to keep her identity private. She is a surrogate. That was probably in her contract. I agree it is a very bizarre situation.
The media incorrectly refers to M.J.’s sons as Prince I and Prince II. The oldest is named Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. but is called “Prince.” The youngest’s name is Prince Michael Jackson II, named after M.J’s Grandfather, he is called “Blanket.” So, Prince and Blanket.
Considering MJ’s name is on all their birth certificates, unless someone can prove he obtained them illegally or someone claims they have DNA evidence..It looks like MJ is the biological father.
And as I was trying to say in my previous posts, I don’t think the children are messed up. But whatever. It looks like everyone else just wants to argue over names and not talk astrology.

Kids being brought up in the gold-fish bowl of Hollywood with famous parent/s are bound to have some residue personality issues.
All that will play out in time I suppose.
It is natural other posters have that curiosity to comment on.

This 3 precious children are human beings and they have a heart and soul and a mind and have just lost a loved one…please treat them with care as they undertake a life change. Show them love, compassion and patience and lots of tender loving care. They are sweet individuals who deserve a chance in life to be who they are.

I’m sorry if I sounded pissed before. I typed out most of my observations about the charts and was hoping to get feedback or another perspective here. That’s is all I have to say on the matter unless I write my own article like Lynn
The consensus I’m getting from these posts is that people think this is an invaison of privacy. Even though I disagree and think Lynn’s artcle was a thoughtful overview it is nice to see people feeling so protective of the children.

I hope you didn’t think that my speculation on the children’s future professions was not giving them “a chance in life to be who they are.” I purposefully avoided listing anything about entertainment (even though there ARE musical aspects in the two sons charts.) There are many ways for them to utilize the creativity I see in their charts.

According to the source you first quoted in your article, TMZ.com, the birth certificate of Michael Jackson’s oldest son lists his name as Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. NOT Prince Michael. My conjecture is “Prince” Michael was the boy’s nickname, but then Michael Jackson decided to bestow the name on his second son.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t believe there needs to be a person in the family who is legally named “Jr” or “the first” to legally name a child “the second,” odd as that may seem.
My conjecture is that Michael Jackson wanted to use the name “Prince Michael” for his second son, but had informally called his first son by that name, as a nickname. But, in his heart and mind, and the first son’s mind, the oldest boy was “the first” therefore, Michael named his younger son “the second.”
It is very interesting that there was a “Prince” in the Jackson family tree. I didn’t know that.
If any of what I have written isn’t correct, please post information. I was basing it on what your source, TMZ.com has published as the birth certificates of Michael Jackson’s children.
I have to admit, I have been very confused about the actual name of Michael Jackson’s oldest son, until I saw the birth certificate.
