Was fascinated by your June 28th radio program and your thoughts on the Neptune/Chiron conjunction. I felt it was very well presented.
Related to the Ne/Ju/Ch theme, I noticed there is an exact Jupiter/Chiron conjunction (24 ‘55 Aq) on the day of the July 22 eclipse. This will form a t square to Obama’s natal Vesta (24 ‘58 Taurus) and natal Uranus (25 ‘15 Leo). There are other aspects going on in Obama's chart during this eclipse that makes one wonder whether some big changes are ahead. Tr. Pluto still remains in close opposition to natal Venus (within a half degree). Tr. Mars at 6 '58 Gemini in t square to Obama's natal Pluto (6 '58 Virgo)/ natal Chiron (5 '19 Pisces) opposition. An exact Progressed Venus/Uranus conj. at 28 '13 Leo opposite a very close Progressed Moon/south node conj (26 '51/ 26 '56 Aq). The 7/22 eclipse itself conjoins tr. south node, US progressed Pluto and more notably its opposition to Obama’s natal Jupiter and the ‘09 Inaugural Sun. There may be some ramifications to all this. Would you care to offer an analysis?

Hi Jerry, thanks for your comments! I'm glad you liked the radio show. That July 22 eclipse is going to really be something. I don't work with Vesta (the asteroids don't talk to me and I don't consider Chiron an asteroid) so I can't speak to this. Obama has had some big transits going on for quite some time - this is the final hit of Pluto to his Venus and it's probably time for an Obama Update. I will explore in a future post.

My god, I am revisiting all the fighting with local people here that I did about 7 months ago, almost place for place. Last night almost came to blows with a stranger.
Please make this stop! I thought all these outer retrograding planets had recreated late 2008

Hi Lynn,
You wrote: "I don't consider Chiron an asteroid"
I take that statement to mean, that in your view, Chiron plays a much more important influence in astrological affairs then that of the lesser known planetary bodies, such as Vesta, Juno, Ceres etc.
Although Chiron is technically listed as an asteroid in virtually all the astrological related material I've come across, I find your statement quite intriguing. In light of all the attention Chiron has been given recently in its shared role with the ongoing Neptune/Jupiter conjunction, would you care to elaborate?

Bill, I had a big fight with my husband last night too. The intensity should subside soon, and has more to do with Mars than the outer planet retrogrades.

Hi Jerry, I've been working with Chiron since the mid-1980s. At the time, the asteroids were just coming into favor and I eagerly devoured all the books I could get my hands on, looking for the feminine perspective in the chart. The asteroids have never spoken to me, although I do try to look at Ceres now that she has been elevated to planet status and may therefore have more significance. She does seem to play a role in how well we nurture our incarnation. But I digress...
Astrologers classify Chiron with the asteroids, as did astronomers originally. But it also has characteristics of a comet and was reclassified as Comet 95P. I think I'm going to put the rest in a blog post! Thanks Jerry. :)

Hi Lynn,
The feedback was helpful. Thanks. I think it's worth mentioning, you're not alone in regarding Chiron as an important feature to contemporary astrological studies. Many promminent astrologers have incorporated it into their analysis.
With that being said, what do you make of that exact Jupiter/Chiron conjunction in opposition to Obama's natal Uranus at the time of the July 22 eclipse?

Consider Kim Jong's chart July 7th eclipse transiting Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune conjunct his sun at 27 Aquarius squaring his natal Uranus at 26 Taurus. Then consider the tech attach computer shut downs in Washington and South Korea coming from, what is alleged, North Korea on July 4th fulfilling his promise not with missiles, as he was too much in danger from US forces, but through Aquarian technology. Obama has that transit opposite his chart meaning possibly another cyber attack?
