Astrological Musings Radio: The Steven Forrest Interview

posted by Lynn Hayes | 8:03am Saturday August 1, 2009

Sunday morning, 10 am EDT

I prerecorded the radio show this week because I am out of town, and thought this was an excellent time to interview one of my favorite astrologers (and first teacher), Steven Forrest.  Steve is an evolutionary astrologer, I think you’ll find it an interesting listen.  You won’t be able to call in to the show because it’s been prerecorded, but I had an interesting query from a listener with a question on the nodes of the moon, and important part of evolutionary astrology, so it fits right in.  Just click this player button at 10 am EDT Sunday morning and listen!  You can also listen to archived shows in the player in the sidebar, and this show will be archived about an hour after it airs.

Sunday inspiration: Trusting the future
Astrologers have a reputation, which we ourselves and our forbears have propagated, of being able to foretell the future.  If you run a Google search for "Can astrology predict the future," the very first article is from a well-known astrology site titled "Predicting the future with astrology."

Neptune in Pisces and the question of reality
Neptune just slipped back into Pisces where it will remain until 2025.  Neptune's role in the astrological pantheon is to cause us to question where the physical world ends and a more transcendent reality begins.  It therefore rules our spiritual experience, but it can also be confusing and induce

Sunday inspiration: The Great Nest of Being
"Whenever we moderns pause for a moment, and enter the silence, and listen very carefully, the glimmer of our deepest nature begins to shine forth, and we are introduced to the mysteries of the deep, the call of the within, the infinite radiance of a splendor that time and space forgot - we are intr

Thanks so much for the interview with Steven Forrest. I had a couple of readings from him when he lived in Chapel Hill and he is excellent. It was great to hear his voice again.
It was hard to hear his voice, although I could hear Lynn just fine. I had the volume on my computer and on the radio turned up to the highest volume.
Is there another way to increase the volume of blog talk radio?
If it hadn’t been Steven Forrest I wanted to hear so much, I wouldn’t have had the patience to keep my head propped just next to the monitor so my ear was flush with the speaker!I had to stand and lean over with my arms crossed on the computer desk and my backside in the air!
Thanks again for your wonderful posts.

I don’t know what the problem is with Blog Talk Radio. When I recorded the interview Steven was somewhat quieter than me but it wasn’t as bad. I’ll write to the tech people and see what they say, many people have commented about this.
