Fun Friday: Atheist Temple Planned for UK's Nonbelievers
Author Alain de Botton has announced plans to build an Atheist temple in the United Kingdom, presumably so nonbelievers have a place to gather and share their philosophies.
Um... isn't that what Starbucks is for?
Also, I can't wait to see how the architect will handle this kind of project. May

Hey Nicole!! I trust you’re feeling refreshed following your, I’m sure thoroughly well-deserved hiatus. As for the post, what a load of sanctimonious crap!(Lovely language for a devout and passionate Christian, hey, lol!!). In all seriousness, though it to me, it demonstrates all that’s, for want of a better word, wrong, with fundametalism. G-D THE MAGICIAN WHO GRANTS ANYTHNG MAN WANTS!!, and also in our consumeristic world. To the contrary, to me,I believe the exact opposite is true. That Christ, Buddha, Mohammed, Allah etc, call us to be modest in our living, so we can reduce our impact on our carbon footprint, and thus help, and reach out to, the poor. As one of the Gospels says”Whatver you did for the least of these(i.e the poor, the marginalised, refugees etc) you did for me”. All the best, otherwise, Nicole, and richest blessings. flipperthedolphin.
