The following article might be helpful in getting you started on setting goals. But some of this goal-setting stuff can go way too far. So if it makes you breathe harder, skip it.
Click here to read the full article, which begins this way:
Goal setting is a powerful process for personal planning.
The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.
More than this, properly-set goals can be incredibly motivating, and as you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals, you’ll find that your self-confidence builds fast.

I have found that if I want to have positives-then I just pay about it sometimes and sometimes I use the gifts that God gave and make sopme positive things happen. Volunteering is an art and my family has been involved in different types of ministry and volunteering for free–for many years. It makes the person feel humble and yet too pooped to ridicule others who are unable to volunteer quite so much.
I always tell people who are depressed or doing the “me, me, me thing” that someone out there needs them and they are needing to be needed. Volunteering does help find out who you are and takes the focus off of the problems at hand.
