Mother Theresa’s ministry was to those who had
lost hope, those who felt abandoned by God, those
who were forgotten and neglected by society.
She had to experience these same feelings in her
own heart in order to understand what it means to
be so alone. Many beloved of God have gone thru
times when it is so dark, when we feel lost; but
hope is not lost!!

I’m not bipolar, but I have had a long and arduous fight with depression. I read your articles for the first time, and I love your honesty and that you don’t claim to “have all the answers”.
You’ve just made a friend in me. I’m sitting at my desk at work and wiping tears of empathy and joy. I never knew that Mother Teresa thought that way, I like how you seem to have some peace at just knowing what the problem is and knowing that these things take time and hope, amoung other things, to deal with.
If I could have one wish, I would wish for everyone to REALLY understand the prayer of serenity! One way does not fit all!
Peace and patience for you
