Reader Richard shared with me in a recent e-mail his toolbox, four ways he tries to stay sane. Some of ours overlap, but he has a different way of saying them that might help you:
1. Congruency of my faith in God and the way I live. When that gets out of kilter, as it has right now, everything suffers.
2. Active participation in AA. Although I have not had a drink in over 20 years, I go for Attitude Adjustment.
3. Surrounding myself with people whom know me and love me, without having to wear a mask.
4. Taking care of one thing at a time. I am a great one to read two or three books at a time or talk on the phone while doing dishes or eating breakfast.
