Therese, I feel like I have known you for years not months. Everyone who reads this knows how it feels to be classified, chronic depressive, etc. I can't have a conversation with my adult children about "my feelings." They can't listen & be encouraging; they are so criticil of me. I believe I was a very good Mom; thru many years when money was low.
They will not be of great help when I cross that bridge into "needs assist living."
Now, I have been working "Letting It Go." I must admit that it works. If grandkids need a sitter, I will receive a call. After 1 or 2 others couldn't help. I used to have "the right of 1st refusal". But I let it go........................still working on that.
