Another way of taming the negative persons inside our head is to simply “shake off the dirt,” which is also an affirming and supportive discussion thread at Group Beyond Blue on Beliefnet’s Community. Beyond Blue Member DawnAndrea06777 starts off the discussion with this:
Some of us have decided to work at shaking “dirt” off of ourselves, the dirt we throw on and the dirt others do. We are going to report back to each other on how we do over the course of the week.
I was so inspired as I read through the responses. Because, even as it’s good to be the boss, the boss needs friends to help her stay strong (and caffeinated). Right? Because people seem to hate the boss.
