Again, this title is too positive to be my own. But we must start the holiday season with a heart of joy, no? Here's a good beginning ... What is it about a short quotation that carries so much power?...
A saying that has become a mantra for me is "This, too, shall pass." It's short, sweet, and so true.

Bailout 2008, a poem by David Jeffrey
Like a bloodied warrior,
laying broken and torn.
Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.
But the blood, it be green,
the color of money.
And the soldier is an economy,
and it is anything but funny.
Broken are it's people and shattered are their dreams.
Thanks to the ultra rich and their full proof schemes.
It is a tragedy with more pain to come.
Finance will be Hell, and their wills will be done.

When things dont seem to go your way, you should still have confidence and Faith because the Universe simply has a bigger better plan for you, and all you have to do is wait for it to unfold

After years of depression and then making a decision to change my life I started using positive affirmations. Its taken nearly a year, but one morning I woke up and thought 'I choose to be happy' and have been. whenever I am in situation that would have normally caused me to sink into depression, i simply repeat those words and i am able to avoid the depression. Positive statments and affirmations definately work.
