If you don't find the humor in this, my sincere apologies. But that is not going to keep me from sending it next year, too. Sorry. CHRISTMAS DISORDERS and CAROLS 1. Schizophrenia --- Do You Hear What I Hear? 2....
I can understand why your cracking up!!! I guess I don't even need chocolate to be entertained these days and I just found out I suffer from more mental disorders then I knew I had!!!
Thank you so much for sharing silly things like this in your blog because it never seems to fail when I am needing an attitude adjustment you always seem to give it to me.

I really loved #11 Oppositional Defiant Disorder, even the abreviation is great "ODD" ! Of course that is also known as "Strong Willed Child Syndrome" (we got about four generations of those types now, and the world is in deep shit!) You can't "Tell" a strong willed child anything! They will do what they want to do, when they want to do it, and how they want to do it! ..."You can't fight City Hall" ... Bet me I can't !

I thought "Strong-Willed Child Syndrome" was James Dobson's diagnosis.
And considering what he does to strong-willed dachshunds, I'd call his recommended treatment child abuse (HTTP://)

I thought "Strong-Willed Child Syndrome" was James Dobson's diagnosis.
** Actually that was Dobson's coined Terminology/psychosis ... the diagnosis is mine, and that comes from Living a Life of one of them thar types (along with a mother, wife and three kids all the same! hah!)
And considering what he does to strong-willed dachshunds, I'd call his recommended treatment child abuse (HTTP://)
** and now you know why the entire world is suffering with de-pression, which is in my diagnosis O-pression, re-pression, su-pression, and consta-pression (or is that con-stepation ? although I haven't got a clue what the hell a "stepation" is, but I'm against it !)

A. Frenda Meine woke me up this morning to also point out this. I don't pay anybody for all this psyche/drug crap. I write my own wacko book, for myself, I ain't payin no ahole to tell me I'm crazy!
I also need to mention "Passive Aggressive Behavior" They just put a label on that after 2,000 years(if you catch my drift!). A "PAB" is a person who will not fight with you, and will agree with everything you tell them to do...they just won't do it! Here's the classic example (of my kids...all kids!..."Come to Me as a child") "Therese!, go clean your room" ... OK Mom ... Therese, is your room clean yet? ... Not yet mom ... Why not? ... I'm busy ... With what? ... Uhhhh, I'm doing my homework! ... Well, as soon as your done, clean your room ... OK Mom ... Therese, it's almost lunch time, is you room clean yet ... No Mom ... Well get it done before lunch or your not getting any! ... OK Mom ... Are you finished yet? ... No Mom ... Well get down here and eat and your going right back up there and finish, right after lunch! ... OK Mom! .... (much later) Therese, are you finished yet? ... No Mom ... Well it's almost supper time! ... (even much later !) Therese, you're not going to bed until you finish your room! ... OK Mom! ... ( and very, very much later !) Go to bed dammit! And first thing in the morning you are goin’ to ...clean this room! . . . OK Mom! Good night! I Love you!
Let me finish with this. My friends ask me if I have had a prostraight exam yet? And I tell them "No, why?" ... If you don't you could die! ... Let me get this right ... if I have a prostraight exam, I won't die? ... That's not what I said! ... Let me "tell" you something, I ain't paying nobody to stick their hand up my ass! If sombody is gonna stick something up my ass...they're gonna have to pay me!

Cully - I'm so glad you forwarded this to Therese, and Therese, I am so glad you posted it. It's the first time I've been out of bed in l l/2 days with (of forget it - excruitiating pain - blah, blah, etc.). Anyway, my husband said to go check out the blog for a few minutes, and all I got to was this one. I love it!!! Anything that's going to make me smile, and it's funny only because it was sent from "one of us". I'm going to print it out, but not now, because the "terriorist" that has taken hostage in my body and brain won't let me keep my eyes open from the migraines and sit up in a chair without feeling I'm going to fall over dead. So fa, de la, la, la. The more that I try all attempts at miniminzing my life and get a grip on this illness (let alone the clinical depression and anxiety of mega proporttions) - the more "it's" going to break through and show me who's boss. It's pretty tough (well you all know this) when it's something inside of you that feels separate from you and you (or at lease I) hate it. Tuesday is Connecticut with all of our records and treatment plans that didn't work, and MRI's and SPECT scans, and tilt table test results, and EKG ECG and so on, with the 24 page "report" that is still stressing me out about writing in the stupid little criteria. It's a story that needs to be told. A long repititious one, but I have to do this report or they keep my money and won't see me that day.
Oh well - I've got to go back to bed, where I get no comfort and little sleep anyway. Great for a person who is also treating depression. Just what you'd want them to do. Stay in bed and do nothing.
Thanks for letting me spew. I really just wanted to say Cully's holiday message had me ROTFLMAO.
It's a little different from Larry's. My friend gave it to me.

In these times, when groups like NAMI are working hard to destroy the stigma attached to mental illnesses, this article is in very poor taste! Are you Schizophrenic? Are you Bi-Polar? Do you suffer from Anxiety Disorder or Phobias? If you did, you'd know how hurtful this is! I can't believe that a place with a name like "BeliefNet" would posts such hurtful things. Shame on you!

This is not funny. My husband works as a therapist with chronically mentally ill adults. This season sees an increase in hospitalizations as people have increased difficulties dealing with their issues; the last couple of years have seen at least one client attempt suicide. For someone without a clue to forward this type of "humor" is one thing...it is TOTALLY inappropriate for a for a website supposedly promoting mental health, with a spiritual bent on top of it to do so. The mentally ill have enough to deal with and don't need to be made fun of in this way.

I have suffered with depression for many years and my only son is autistic and ADD. I have a sister-in-law who is bipolar. She and I both thought this was very funny and not offensive in the least. I for one, MUST laugh at jokes like these, because if I didn't I'd be suicidal(again). If we can't laugh at our foibles and weaknesses, what can we do? Sit in the corner and eat worms? Make things even harder on ourselves? Time spent laughing is time NOT spent in darkness. Mental illness IS very serious, but that doesn't mean we can't poke a little fun at ourselves once in a while! Just my opinion...

Sometimes people just take themselves TOO seriously!
I was told once by a counselor friend that one sign
of maturity is the ability to laugh at yourself. I
"fit" into a category or two of the above (hate to say
"I suffer from...") and, honestly, laughter IS the
best medicine. It doesn't diminish the issue nor replace
the "cure" - but a momentary LIGHTEN UP never hurt anybody!
Here's one of my favorite bumper stickers:
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue,
I'm Schizophrenic, and so am I.

Therese....I have always and will continue to look forward to your blogs and comments on mental illness. Humor was the only thing I had left when things were bad. Humor is a gift from God. We must laugh and poke fun at things we cannot control, it's a coping skill. I know that anything you write comes from the heart, and from experience. You are not one to blog without experience.
You have a wonderful gift, don't stop your comments, videos, and reasonings. I have never found your posts offensive in anyway, in fact they make me laugh, smile, and bring tears to my eyes. In many ways, your site reminds me to pray for those who suffer. Yes, we live in an imperfect world, and we are fallen creators who suffer with all types of diseases, afflictions and pain...but in the midst of it all, we must endure, and humor is one of the many ways to endure.
Keep moving forward,
Christine

John
December 10, 2007 11:50 AM
Come on, people - lighten up! Does EVERYTHING have to be SO P.C. that we cannot even have a little fun laughing at and about ourselves? Human nature has always been attuned towards surviving every day by trying to make light of the "heaviest" of situations and conditions. When you stop to think about the great comics of the world, more often than not they come from very trying circumstances and lives that were far from ideal and, yet, they managed to not only survive but to THRIVE in life because they were able to make fun of themselves, their circumstances and the world around them. I work with "special needs" students and yes, the holiday season does see an increase in the severity of their behaviors and a deepening of their problems BUT, by constantly laughing at myself and allowing them, even encouraging them to join in that activity, allows them to smile and even start to laugh off their own "issues." So, remember, laugh and the world laughs with you - cry, and you cry alone! and shouldn't Schizophrenia's song be - "Do I hear what I hear?" Come on, people, it IS the holiday season and be thankful that you are alive and CAN laugh - so DO IT!
Peace!
Courtney

I have seen this go around many times, and laugh every time. I grew up in a family of mental illness, and my mother had friends and worked with people with ALL kids of addictions and mental illness. I myself have suffered through bouts of it throughout my life and have worked with people with it.
To those of you who can't laugh at this, I feel sorry for you. If you have worked with or lived with people who suffer from these things you learn very quickly that a sense of humor is essential.
Our society is so hung up on political correctness, fear of offending that we are numbing ourselves to the reality that laughing heals the heart, mind, and spirit.
Last week I wanted to pull the plug on life, this week is a new one and I thank God for it. Today I am happy for the gift to Live, Love, Laugh. and Cry.
Who are we to judge what someone else would think is funny or not, but why deprive someone of a smile because to the fear that some oversensitive person might be offended? Thanks to you who voiced your opinion about being offended, thanks to you who laughed at this, thanks to you who posted it. Beliefnet serves everyone, no matter what their nationality, religious preference, race, or mental or physical ability, I am thankful for it.
Let us all remember to get off the high horse and leave the judgement to God.

Why do people have to take offense to everything? Laughter is truly the best medicine... and if you can't laugh at this, you're just uptight and you'll die that way I suppose... Miserable and just Uptight. woweee, what fun! I have been diagnosed with OCD, major depressive disorder, borderline personality disorder, ADD... and I'm 20 years old. I still found this to be funny. It wasn't meant to make fun of or hurt anyone... people need to start to see the bright side of life; start with laughter. stop being so defensive! that's the downfall of america! everyone is getting offended by everything! you only live once, get over it! learn to laugh! I repeat, LEARN TO LAUGH!

We must remember that the purpose of Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Everything else is redundant. The comments that were posted before mine were very valid. You must have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at the silly things that are said and done by human beings. Spiritually this is a special time to uplight Jesus Christ our lord and savior. Well I to lived in a home with 2 parents who had mental disorders, and it was at times very scary growing up. What was worse was they both did nothing about it. I to have a mental disorder, but I have gotten help, and medication. And I thank God for it. I now can function.
I live next store to a lady who has Schizophrenia, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and its not funny at all. Especially when she does not take her medication. Dementia, well I have known people who have had family members who had that, and now ARE home For christmas, as both my parents are. And I work with some Ladies who childern have Attention Deficit Disorder, and it almost drives them to tears, and crazy at times.
I have heard and read the above before many times, but I to find it not very funny. Yes laughing is great medicine, but not at the expense of people who have mental disorders.

Oh Please! The purpose of any holiday is what you choose to make it! The reason for the season for many, especially the ancient, waaaayyyy before "civilization" came around was the Solstice, the Winter Solstice.
Some people aren't Christian, some people celebrate...something...so their kids won't feel left out or singled out.
Some people are Agnostic, and some call themselves Christian yet all they do is act manic leaving their carbon imprint everywhere with their tons of lights, plastics etc.
To each its own, if someone is so humour challenged that can't spare a second to laugh or even to smile then I really feel sorry for you!
Thanks Therese, I loved it and have sent it to all my agnostic, Jewish, and Christian friends and neighbors.

I've seen this type of thing before many months ago. I found it rather insulting to those poor unfortunate people such as myself that have had or has these types of mental disorders.
Some people have no problem in "poking fun" of those that have real trials and tribulations such as mental disorders. I for one am not that way and rather shocked that BeliefNet would allow such stuff to enter into their emails.
Mental illness in whatever form is anything but funny. Real challenges are laid before them and some can learn to cope with medication and therapy and others can't. I find nothing funny about someone having cancer, and to have a mental illness is no different than having any other physical ailment that can be potentially life threatening.

I have to find humor to cope when it get bad. as she get older she is more forgetful but I try to find humor so I will not get down myself. no one is "poking fun" at people with problems in a mean way.. I have a so called 'mental disorder', yet I am not put off by this Holiday humor. If one cannot laugh , cannot let go, then what is ones reason for living? HUMOR is one of the most important things in life, It has been scientifically proven that humor helps all ailments !!When we laugh, it releases endorphins into the body, and that, my friend, is a VERY good thing. Also, lets drop the label of 'mentally ill', as it is actually just something gone wrong in the brain, therefore, making it a physiological disorder. The term 'mental illness' just continues to stigmatize those who have it ! As someone who has dealt with depression for most of his life, and who's also worked with a wide array of mentally ill patients, I feel I am somewhat qualified to put in my 50¢ worth of opinion here.
I have found that there's no better therapy for any ailment, physical or emotional, than laughter. I'm not advocating laughter as medication, but certainly as part of any treatment program.
I'm currently going through a rough time, and being treated with psychotherapy and antidepressants. However, reading the piece on "Christmas Disorders & Carols" (and the recurrent bouts of laughter it has brought me since I did), has been the best bit of therapy I've received in quite some time. With reader Cully's permission, I'm planning to share this with everyone I know. Laughter is the best antidepressant of them all!
Life is too short and too important to take it so seriously. Whatever your personal beliefs may be, you can bet your God is funny: He/She/It created each of us. If that is not proof of a fine sense of humor, I don't know what is!

Hi Therese, and all.
I find that often in life, people who "react" to something that is said or written about mental disorders, are often those who either do not have an affinity with the thing they are reacting to, or they have it or know someone who does, and they have not accepted that part of themselves/another as part of them - and therefore, a part to be embraced and loved. Does that make sense?
The reason I say this, is because I have suffered with a mental disorder since 1990. At times, I have been so down I wanted to end it all, but as I have grown older, I have learned to take myself more lightly and view everything with love and laughter. (Angels take themselves lightly, and that is why they can fly!).
I'm no saint, I still react heavily to rape, war, murder, poverty, starvation, robbery and the list goes on. BUT .... in a world where everyone is struggling to find the peace and love we all long for, it makes more sense to sit back and smell the roses sometimes, and use a sense of humour for as many things as one can. You know, laughter can heal many ailments, and it certainly makes you feel good. I defy anyone to watch your favourite comedian for 15 minutes and not end up laughing.
So, in this time of global love and warm fuzzy feelings (Christmas season) can we all try to see the lighter side of life? I am sure when this piece was written, it was not intended to slur anyone or anything. Heck, I have a dog that has OCD and I just cracked up when I read that part as it is just HER.
Personally, I loved the piece. I can see aspects of myself, my mother, my sister, some friends, some clients, some pets etc in the piece. Remember people, one's position on things is one's position, but not necessarily the 'right' position.
Love and Angel Blessings to you Therese for the 'silly season' and to everyone reading the boards. I hope you all have a happy holiday, filled with much love, laughter and merriment.
Love, Shauna xx (\o/)(\o/)(\o/)

To those oh so sensitive and so PC who are appalled...Nobody is putting a gun to your temple and forcing you to read something you don't think it's proper.
One sign of intelligence is a sense of humour. Some, sane or not, lack this, and in my estimate that lack is worse than a mental illness.
I'm bipolar and I'm proud! This is also a bumper sticker I PROUDLY display on my car.
See if someone tries to make me feel bad about it! It's what we keep hidden and not talked or laughed about that has the potential to hurt us.

I love it, I love it, I love it!! It is so gratifying to read about others like myself who have a REAL sense of humor!! WE (and I'm talking about all those who live and breathe on planet earth) have got to grasp the strength that God has given us, in order to push on; and laughter is the very key to assist in getting that strength. As a child I used to laugh at just about everything. And now as an adult I make it a point to laugh, or else I would probably be put away somewhere (that's real talk). As human beings we all have issues with our families, jobs, social lives, etc.; and it is up to us as adults to be able to look at certain things and LAUGH, LAUGH, LAUGH!! Keep up the comedy, as it is very much needed. THANX!

Really really funny! After spending a year hearing every diagnosis possible for my son, he and I could have a good laugh together over these!
To those who are feeling put out by these:
Everyone needs to take this all with a grain of salt. It's not mean spirited and it does a great job at showing how life can seem when you are struggling with any of these "LABELS".
I saw a little bit of myself as well as my loved (and not so loved) friends and family in most of them!
May we ALL find some thing to laugh about with our families and friends this Holiday season!

You know what? I've thought about this again upon reflection, and I need to make a sincere and full apology.
I should never have used the word "killjoy" to describe people who don't appreciate sarcasm about mental illness. It is a deadly serious subject, so I can understand people feeling like that. (I certainly do at my worst.)
At the same time, Therese, myself, and a lot of other regular BB readers and commenters DO find sarcasm to be an invaluable defense mechanism to our disease.
That said, I should not invalidate the feelings of those who don't find it to be so funny. So again, I am truly sorry. (Though I might add, in a bit of polite advice, this might not be the best blog for you if you can't treat your illness with a sense of humor.)

Therese, may I add another? I took it personally when I didn't see my particular disorder mentioned, and so, here is number 12:
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer... and I am reminded of it over and over, each and every Christmas season.

Sherry,
About #12. What a great addition to one of the funniest lists I have ever read. You are really creative!
I have so many people to show this list to and all of us are going to be laughing from now until Christmas!!!!
Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

LOL! As a Master's degree student in Counseling I can really appreciate this. I had to laugh as I glanced over at my Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - DSM-IV-TR in between reading the jokes about the disorders - lol. It can be overwhelming to have to learn all the names, descriptions, symptoms and diagnosis criteria for all the disorders contained in the large 943 page manual - this helps to lighten things up regarding a topic that doesn't seem very funny at time when knee deep in the study if it and the testing of my knowledge on it :o) LOL!

It's been awhil since I've seen this. It still makes me laugh. Do I see myself here? Somewhere? No Matter!!! A Merry CHRISTmas to ALL. It's sadto know so much of Christmas has slipped into the commercial world....God Bless You one and all....

There are people in my life who match all these disorders, & so I can identify with all of them. I was laughing so hard because I can really relate! It's great to see a little Ha, Ha, Ha! mixed in with the Ho, Ho, Ho season. Mental disorders are no fun to live with, but if we don't poke a little fun at them once in awhile they'd be impossible to live with. Happy holidays everyone!

If we can't laugh at our own disorders, then what is the use of having them? I sent this to a bunch of friends, each of whom has one or more of these unique quirks (even flaws have value - remember in the "Pink Panther", it was the distinct flaw in the diamond that made it so valuable!), and they all saw themselves and laughed. Mental illness is serious, not solemn (thank you Russell Baker).

I found the Christmas Carols hilarious! I'm #9 ,ADHD, and can really relate to "where's France?" My mind is always going off on 5 tangents at once. I also live with a spouse and two children with ADHD. It's a hard, chaotic life but we can find humor in the most unusal places where others can't. I think that's what has kept us all alive, our humor because ADHD is devastating until you're diagnosed and educate yourself ( at least in our case).

I laughed -- I forwarded -- they laughed....
I hope the killjoys don't show up again on this one -- as I ROFLMAO!!!

** Nah! ... I didn't even read his book, just the title was enough for me!

RE:Larry: Could you please define your latest anagram (ROFLMAO)? This in the second time recently that you've used it and both times you've lost me!(Perhaps intentionally?) Thanks in advance.(Assumptive, aren'y I?)

ROFLMAO = Rolling Over From Laughing My @$$ Off
tHANKS, lARRY; i love IT!!! (CAN WE ALL USE IT, OR ARE YOU TERRITORIAL ABOUT IT?
Absolutely hilarious!! I be laughing everytime I hear a Christmas carol. Thanks for the chuckle, was needin' some cheer today.Everyone stay warm,it's 20 degrees F in Wyoming at the moment and supposed to get down to 12 degrees F by tonight.Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
Both ROFLMAO and ROTFLMAO are fairly standard Internet acronyms, Margaret.
Neither of us from New Jersey (including Nancy as well as myself) has a copyright ;-P
Larry, Thanks for the info (and for not pointing out that I misused "anagram instead of anagram) Guess you can tell i'm not a frequent chatroom participant!
this is so great that I just had to e-mail it to myself. that way I can send it my friends & family. thanks for having it on your site.
I find this very offensive to the mental health community and those who truly have this problem and violates rule #4 in the rules of conduct for beliefnet.
I have lost all faith in "BeliefNet". Mental Illness is not a laughing matter. I agree with Kathy....Shame on you!!!
i thought this was funny it made me feel better i suffer from depression but this wasnt by no means offencive to me in fact it made me feel so much better i think that if people would learn to stop and laugh this world would be a better place
I loved reading this piece.Very Funny!I have to say I needed a good laugh! My son has Aspergers, tourettes and Schizophrenia. It has been a trying 2 years. I have to stay home and be on guard should I get a call from his school and his many doctor appointments.I recently have went through panic attacks due to this situation because of the stress. Thanks for making me smile again!
Keep moving forward,
Christine
I'm also a therapist and I use humor successfully to help people with their problems all of the time. This is just one more example of how people "miss" ways to enjoy the stressful holidays! Lighten up!
Peace!
Not exactly what I thought I'd read at "BelieffNet". But then again it's the 2000's not the 1900's. My daughter has a physcial disablitity and laughter got us though alot of very serious illnessess and some very trying days, you gotta laugh to keep it real. I'm glad to see some humor along the way.
You've done it again....and it doesn't take much to entertain me while I am eating chocolate either (still tasting it on my tongue)....this is wonderful stuff....to be able to laugh at ourselves is truly a blessing....I can feel those endorphins working to relieve stress as I am still laughing....humor is by far the best therapy for mental disorders with no side effects except for the urge to spread it around....now if we could get it in time-release capsules....lol...Have a wonderful week!
We must give thanks for the ability to be able to enjoy and remember the uniqueness of our personailities. It is what it is, and we are who we are. Have a very merry christmas and a blessed new year.........
I just read the Christmas Carols regarding people with mental disorders and I find it appaling!! I have really enjoyed everything that has been posted as they are positive experiences or caring stories or means of helping others. I had a son with mental disturbances and he is no longer on this earth with me and I sure do not beleive this is Christmas nor do I beleive anyone should be made fun of or ridiculed. GROW UP and screen the trash that is on this website!!
Take you meds.
Enjoy life
Including the season
lOVE ONE ANOTHER
FORGIVE!
I can only say one thing about the list of carols and to the ones upset by it.. lighten up. there comes a time when if you do not laught then you will cry. my mother is 80 years old and has had major depression since I was born.. 50+ years. I have to find humor to cope when it get bad. as she get older she is more forgetful but I try to find humor so I will not get down myself. no one is "poking fun" at people with problems in a mean way.. I find that humor is better then seeing something that was not meant. oh well since I celebrate winter solistic/ yule not Xmas I better not post my list of Xmas songs
Smile.. it is easier the crying.
I have depression and a couple of Personality Disorders, and I thought this was really funny! We have to be able to laugh at ourselves. To me, it's part of acceptance. I know what it's like to not have the meds work, and just because this made me laugh does not mean I do not have compassion for my fellow sufferers.
I plan to share this with my meds-management doctor and with my therapist!
Peace, Love & Happy Holidays to all.
Daffodill :-)
wow am i offended! at all the uptight people that got offended over the carols and such. no one was poking fun at anyone's misfortune. lighten up! no wonder there's so much stress and mental disorders in the world!
lighten up people. i am sure they did'nt mean to offend anyone. i have ocd and i was not offended by the jingle bells thing. thought it was kinda funny.i thought the attention deficit thing was cute too. life is too short to be so serious all the time
Greetings everyone!
I suffer from 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 Not bad from a list of 11. You want to know what! I like who I am. I am a special person in a crazy world. As I always say "Come what may" Be well good people and have a nice holiday!! Peace & Love!
Thank you, that was very funny and I needed to laugh.
Well here we go again. This is so totally me. God Bless us all. I was so down in the DUMPS today that I thought I read me e-mails..here you all were. It is so wonderful to come to a place where there are no many "me"s..If we can't laugh are ourselves now well maybe later we can. Anyway Happy days to all and me your life improve one day at a time...today is good...I thank God for that..Peace and Love to you all!
People take things way to seriously. I have quite a few of the "illnesses" including the OCD and I thought it was really, really funny! If you can't laugh at yourself then who can you laugh at. This time of year is a very stressed out, depressing, Jack Russell Terrier on caffeine, I could say that because I have one, kind of time, So we all need a little chuckle to let each other know we are not alone in this battle. Thanks, Jeni : )
I would like to see what song would be for a person with Bipolar. I have it and I swing both ways.I am not good with titles of songs so people can you help me out with this one?
~8-)
Hey, I am SO happy that most of you have enjoyed this little list that Therese has put on here. I am sad for those who do not have the capacity to laugh at it. Humor, and the capacity to have it, is something that G_D has given to us all. No one here is poking fun at another. Aren't we all kind of in the same boat ?
Re; Daffodill, Some of us are overboard! As always I love Therese's sense of humour and keen wit. I whole heartedly applaud laughter in the workplace and everywhere else!!!I even sing to my horses in the barn..."You better not kick...You better not bite...You better not dig, I'm telling you why...Santa Horse is coming to town!" I have my own version of the twelve days of christmas but let's not get into it right now.

Happy holidays everyone!
laughing so hard I can barely type. THANKS FOR THE GOOD LAUGH!!!
Oh my golly gee wiz! I'm also laughing so hard I can barely type! This was too funny!!!!
Thanks oodles!
I can't stop laughing..my 7 yr old said mommy i do that to..made me laugh harder.
Mental illness is serious, not solemn (thank you Russell Baker).
another for the list...
seasonal affective disorder: --- I'll have a blue Christmas without my light box....
laugg and the world laughs with you instead of at you!
Depression--- Crashing through the Blues, ine a one-man hopeless spree...*Everybody!*
Ok, I was howling by 10 and 11! I love a good laugh early in the morning.
Loved it last year -- love it this year. Sia -- very funny.
Oh, my God, that is HILARIOUS!!! The one about OCD really made me laugh--all those "jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells" (etc., etc.)!!!! LOL! Even just thinking about it makes me crack up again. Way to go, Therese!
