One of the things that I truly love about my job is that it puts me in touch with head doctors all over the world, and I get to speak to them without having to pay a lot of money! I’m always flattered when a psychologist or psychiatrist links to my blog or incorporates one of my creative (and sometimes unscientific) technique into their repertoire with clients or discusses it in a blog post. Dr. Elvira Aletta publishes a very cool site called “Explore What’s Next,” where she writes a blog, includes helpful stuff for folks like us, and some information about herself and her journey to the land of peace. Check out here site by clicking here. And check what she wrote about my self-esteem video on this post.

Therapy Thursday: Sweat
I have decided to dedicate a post on Thursday to therapy, and offer you the many tips I have learned on the couch. They will be a good reminder for me, as well, of something small I can concentrate on. Many of them are published in my book, "The Pocket Therapist: An Emotional Survival Kit." Work

Scrupulosity: What It Is and Why It's Dangerous
If you sprinkle a hefty dose of Catholic (or Jewish) guilt unto a fragile biochemistry headed toward a severe mood disorder, you usually arrive at some kind of a religious nut. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! For I am one. I have said many places that growing up Catholic, for me, was
