Fellow Annapolis author R. K. Caroland wrote a nice little book called "Find Your Way." I especially appreciate what he wrote about assumptions:One of our biggest mistaken assumptions is that everyone thinks like me. So most of the decisions that we make are based on the way we think. This of course leads us to assume that what's good for us is good for everyone else. So when we jump to a particular conclusion about something, it is based on what we want it to be and this is the definition of an egocentric person.

I agree with the given assumption that One of our biggest mistaken assumptions is that everyone thinks like me. So most of the decisions that we make are based on the way we think.I found this post very attractive as it contain very informative knowledge.I also agree the given concept of egocentric personality.
When making a decicion it is not usually made because the outcome is what I want ,but what the situation demands.Often a decicion is a very painful one but there is no other way in order to keep one's sanity, integrity and discourage future monologues from the small ,still voice.

To sum it up in a nutshell; Once we understand the complexities of relationships through our basic human needs and desires, we can then relate to everyone in a much more harmonious way. To accomplish this, we must look closely at our desires, motivations and agendas, as well as understand where our value and self esteem come from.
We all look for certain basic needs from the people closest to us, but we often don’t appreciate the circumstances we put those around us through to fulfill these needs. Once we realize that we are the creators of our life experience through our motivations, desires and agendas, we can then understand where the chaos of life comes from.
