“Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all life really means.” ~Robert Louis Stevenson
How long do you have to stay on your healthy eating and exercise plan? Forever — and just today.
Sometimes “forever” scares us. It seems hopeless, especially when folks have a large amount of weight to lose. It’s easy to say, “I’ll never make it to the end.” It’s easy to give up.
So let’s look at it a different way. All you really have to take care of is today. Today stay on your plan. Anyone can do that for a day. Tell yourself that just from now until bedtime you are going to stick faithfully to the actions that will make you feel better and more alive.
Tomorrow you can start over and do the same thing again. And by tomorrow you will have a successful day behind you so it will be easier.
But for now, focus on living to the fullest just for today. You can do it!
Eating to live and living for Christ,

I agree! And too many people focus on the numbers on the scale as their measure of success — or lack of it. There are lots of more important factors to consider than just weight — like health and feeling great!

Many people look for the quick diet solution or the quick fix. Most won’t put in the time and work that it requires. It’s the journey that will get you to the results.
