The Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia— or Not

posted by Ben Witherington | 7:16pm Friday June 26, 2009

Not for the first time and undoubtedly not for the last, the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia is claiming it has the original Ark of the Covenant spoken of in the Bible, and made famous all over again by Indiana Jones.  What is new about all this is that the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church says he will be unveiling it for all the world to see soon and very soon.   Here is a link to the story
http://weeklyworldnews.com/headlines/9322/ark-of-the-covenant-revealed/

I must confess that I am more than just a tad skeptical that this ark has anything to do with the original ark of the covenant.  Why not? Well, lets start with the fact that according to Orthodox tradition the ark was brought to Ethiopia by Menilik I who was supposedly Solomon’s son which he had with the Queen of Sheba (who knew?). This claim is not based in any ancient sources known to date prior to the time of Jesus.  What the Bible says is that Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, and no sexual dalliance, never mind marriage to the Queen of Sheba is mentioned in the Bible. 1 Kngs 10.13 refers to Solomon giving the Queen various goods, in a reciprocity exchange meant to cement a positive relationship between the two peoples.  When Solomon is said to have had sexual relationships with foreign women, the text is quite explicit and names the countries from which they came ( 1 Kngs. 11.1ff.) Neither the Queen of Sheba, nor anyone else from Sheba is mentioned.

But besides this fact, there is no good reason whatsoever why any son of Solomon would cart the ark off to Ethiopia. Judea was not under attack by any of the neighboring super powers such as Egypt during the reign of the son of Solomon and the Temple had of course been built in Jerusalem in part to house the ark of the covenant in the first place.  Furthermore, the evidence as far as it goes suggests that Sheba (or Saba) was the country known as Yemen on the east side of the Red Sea, not Ethiopia which is on the west side of that sea, though this matter is debated, and some think Saba included territory on both sides of the sea.

Here below you will find a picture of the little shrine in Ethiopia where the ark is now housed.

Stay tuned for more ‘revelations’, but as my granny once said— “Don’t be so open minded that your brains fall out”.

Personally I have strong doubts that the Ark of the Covenant is in there. There may be a replica of it but I don’t think it is the original Ark. And why would you believe a story from Weekly World News?? They are the same people who talk about space aliens taking over our government and that Kennedy is still alive, blahh, blahh, blahh. It’s a joke of a paper.

If you can belive in the existance of the arc then i can’t imagine any reason why you would belive or not belive a claim. If you have no idea where it is every claim is valid, and any one who claims louder is more convincing.

Suppose that the Ark of the covenant is revealed. How will we know that it’s the real thing? One I saw from a movie set looked pretty convincing, especially with the lightning flashed and onlookers fell over. But seriously, there’s always carbon dating, right?

I joked about this too. I suspect carbon-dating could disprove a (much) later replica, but not prove the genuine article. If scholars were allowed to examine the contents intensively, they might be able to prove at least that it was a very early copy or the original.
It appears the revelation has already been retracted. This one’ll have to wait for another day.

the ethiopian patriarch NEVER actually said he would bring the ark out of his church. some websites and media fabricated his statements.
that is why he did not say anything since then.

Ben,
There is a lot of history involved here and if you follow the ark story you will see a line of jewish culture extending from Yemen to Elephantine in Egypt, to monasteries in Lake Tanis to Axum. There is also a tribe near South Africa that follows jewish customs and have been linked genetically to the Cohen line. Pretty interesting when you look at it all. We are learning everyday to pay more attention to these oral histories and myths because they are usually based on some kernel of truth.

Trust me, it is only one chosen monk that can see the Arc of the Covenant/Tabot resting at the Church of Axum.
Faith is all about beleiving in what you don’t materially see. We Ethiopians beleive deep in our heart that we do have the Tabot and God knows our belief and that is what matters, not what others would say about this and that. The connection of Ethiopia and God is all written and testified by God himself. So why would it be surprising if the Tabot is in Ethiopia?
May God bless us all.

I’m really sorry you don’t believe in history. Menelek took the ark to Ethiopia to protect it because the prophets foretold the war that destroyed the Temple.
The problem with most Christians is that they’re trying to co-opt a story that doesn’t belong to them. Jews know where the covenant is and have for some time. This bizarre idea that someone is going to *touch* it or do carbon dating on it, is hysterically funny.
You let us know how that works out for you, we’ll continue to throw ourselves on the ground and give thanks that it’s really, really real and this long ordeal is finally almost over. Your “New Testament” is amusing, too bad it’s complete Roman Empire propaganda and lies.

It is just possible that Ethiopia doesn’t have the Ark but instead the Mercy Seat that covered it. After all,the imitations are apparently in the form of a tabot, not an oblong box. But Ethiopia-Israel connections can’t be completely ruled out though if the nation has a relic I don’t think we have to believe it came out with Menelik 1. I have written on this subject from a perspective of which almost no one is aware on my Blog at

Interesting Comments. The issue is not if there have been Jews in Ethiopia at some point in antiquity. The issue of course is that the historical evidence does not give any credence to the notion that they were there as early as Solomonic times. What happened at and after the Judean exile in the 6th century B.C. is irrelevant since it is too late, and anyway Jews were carted off to Babylon in the 6th century B.C. If the ark went anywhere in the 6th century, it went to Babylon. Biblical faith is not mere faith, it is faith in the trustworthiness of the Biblical record and the history that undergirds it. That is a different matter than trusting legends which do not have that ancient a pedigree.

According to history the original Ark of the Covenant taken by the servant of Solomon who was told to give duplicated Ark of the Covenant to the son of Solomon Minilik I.
Solomon told the guardian of the covenant to duplicate the Ark of the Covenant and give it to Minilik I and go with him to Ethiopia.
The Guardian were not happy to leave the original Ark of the Covenant then what they did, They left the duplicated one for Solomon and went to Ethiopia with the son of Solomon (Minilik I) with the original Ark of the covenant.
They kept it secret for long time because of afraid of Solomon. Since that time Ethiopian Orthodox doesn’t want to reveal it to the world and it has God’s Power.

I have no dog in this fight, but to interpret Biblical silence on a relationship between Solomon and the queen of Sheba as strong evidence that nothing took place between them is fraught with pitfalls. It seems that there is a strong oral tradition in Ethiopia about this relationship. Too often, in certain sectors of Christianity, “oral tradition”, or even, “Tradition,” is mistakenly equated with legends or even fabrications. An oral tradition may sometimes be false, but very often it is the historical memory of a people. Writing insures more stability of transmission, but is not invulnerable to misstatements of fact.
The end of the Gospel of John states that not everything Jesus said and did was written down. That is why we have a Church, and why “sola Scriptura” is not only defective theology but a faulty approach to research.
Why NOT give consideration to the Ethiopian claim?

I believe that God has preserved the Arc for us and will reveal it in His perfect time. Although the Bible tells us that it was fatal to touch it in the past, I believe that God will allow His chosen person or People to examine it and it’s contents when He wants the world to see it. It seems to me He made it to be a sacred miraculous time capsule to be seen at his appointed time.I would be so thrilled for that day to come. But it’s final placement should be in Israel for the Temple and not to the Pope. I am a Christian, but the Bible is clear about where the Ark belongs.

An ingenious ancient psychological trick and lost artful technology to protect the possible ark and to keep away the superstitious. The Ark of the Covenant is one of the most fabled items in the history of the ancient Near East. The Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Abuna Pauolos, has announced to the world that the fabled Ark of the Covenant is located in Eithiopia, in Axum, and is in his church’s possession. The Ark is considered one of the greatest lost treasures of the world, the greatest treasure of the people of Israel, and a lot of people would give fast cash to see it in order to prove or disprove the claims. The Ark of the Covenant was lost during the Babylonian Captivity, and many have used unsecured loans to try and find just where it went.

Hey Ben,
just for fun here: I Kings 10:13 reads (NIV) “King Solomon gave the Queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for, besides what he had given her out of the royal bounty.”
Possible euphemism?
In any event it is a matter of some indifference to me whether the ark still exists and where. Years ago I read Graham Hancock’s book on the subject. He bought up some interesting medieval evidence for at least the existence of a STORY about the ark being absconded. The book on the whole was not well argued, but there were a few interesting suggestions.

I believe that the “ark of the covenant” (Heb.9:4) and “the ark of his (God’s) testament” (Re.11:9) are one in the same, and contain the “tables of the covenant” (Heb.9:4), the Ten Commandments.
I believe that the ark of the covenant/the ark of his testament is now in the temple of God in heaven (Re.11:19).
At the Seventh TRUMPET (1 Thess.4:16-17), the temple of God is opened in heaven to reveal the ark of His testament (Re.11:19).
And, again, at the GIVING of the Seven Last PLAGUES (Re.15:1-8), “the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened” (Re.15:5), wherein is contained “the ark of his testament” (Re.11:19), “the ark of the covenant” (Heb.9:4).

I am a humble Chaplain Assistant in the US Army, and by far I am not a theological, cultural, nor religious subject matter expert. However I did have to conduct a Religious Analysis on that area of the world for my career progression. It was focused on how local religions would affect military operations. In my research I found that building replicas of the Ark was a common practice as a means to unit the people back in the day. These replicas were called “Shabots.” In one story the Queen of Sheba sent Menelik 1 to visit his father when he was of age to bring back one of these “shabots” in order to rasie the morale of the people. Whether through deceitful means or starnge circumstance the original Ark was brought back instead.
Regardless if it is located there I am amazed how the culture has adopted that belief so whole heartedly. This belief has become a cornerstone in many religious festivities and forms of worship. This is foreign to me because I can not think of something (an item) spiritual/religious here in America the people as a whole will stand behind and follow in the same fashion.

It would be nice to know if the Ethiopian replica has the same dimensions as described in Exodus of the real ark.

Why should anyone care about this fake Ark of the Covenant when a much more important holy relic has already been discovered in Stephan Huller’s book, the Real Messiah:
http://www.amazon.com/Real-Messiah-Throne-Origins-Christianity/dp/1906787123/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1246539906&sr=8-1
Huller went to Venice and proved that the Throne of St. Mark in the Basilica San Marco dates to the beginning of Christianity. His book proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christianity started in Egypt and derives its teachings from the worship of Isis, Osiris and the pagan gods of Egypt.
This is a real historical object, i.e. it is not a fake. You can see it with your own two eyes the next time you go to Italy. It is also being made into a TV documentary for a US Cable network.
Again, why waste your time with this ‘Ark of the Covenant’ nonsense when it is completely fake.
The book costs about $18 but you can get it sometimes for less than that. Maybe if you are still sitting on the fence check out his blog instead at wwww.stephanhuller.blogspot.com.
It’s really cool.

You don’t have the evidence for the existence doesn’t mean you have the evidence it doesn’t exist. You historian and skeptics, have you ever wondered where is the most blessed and respected object of its time. In God’s perspective, everything, living or nonliving, comes with its own designed purpose. And has an eternal implication, what so ever. You don’t have “Ark of the Covenant” in the western church or society doesn’t mean we don’t need It at all. God designed and created (at first) the Covenant. If you want to say you don’t need It, that is one thing. But GOD needs It. We Ethiopian need It, too. Like the temple in the Heaven, our temples are graced with the Covenant. For those Christian, have you ever read Revelation 11:19? It says “Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His Covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightings, noises, thundering, an earthquake, and great hail.” If there is a Covenant in Heaven, having a Covenant here in the earth is an amazing mystery of our time. The mystery is revealed, thought, with true belief and humble heart. In addition, Ethiopia is the country next to Israel blessed with Gods’s words. Go to Bible and Google Ethiopia, you will see a certain part of the hidden mystery. Or read Graham Hankcook’s “The sign and The Seal”.

Stop talking your foolishiness and the silence of the bible on the matter. Where was the bible, when solomon was alive? where did the bible materialise and from what sources. Infact where were the people who claim the bible has theirs. Still somewhere in Germania better known as barbarians of the North. What did the bablyonian king do with the vessels from the temple 586BC, to get the writing on the wall, so what would they have done with the Ark or the Ark to them. You rely on science to convince your materialisetic belief and are of those that live for the flesh and are made ready for the pit. The Ark is for those of the spirit and not the falsehood of rejected souls. You will all see the Ark when the time come. She is with the Ethiopians so that you of the North and the East would not perish until the time come. Ur science merely confirm already what you had been told and when it confirm such matters like global warming you still do nothing but reject because it is about to upset your way of life. But your bible said this time Fire will be the instrument of judgement. It would be better for you that the Ark does not come out, why because you know that it would be all over and your world of no hope, pollution, and earth destorying in nature, would be at an end.The Ark would be the symbol for the new beginning as you rapture off the the place of woe, while the poor and rejected will be eating the manna under the protection of the God that your world has rejected for technology. To say that you are advanced is but proof to show that you are backward and like your father Belial worthless in spirit and of no use but merely rapers of the Earth resources and polluters of the Earth and the flesh. The Ark will never be yours or the Ashkenazi who are the sons of Gomer and their cousin the desert ass who do nothing but cause bloodshed and trample the holy lands and places with their feet as foretold in both the old and new testament. At least your bible has record, inter alia, God’s assurance for the Ethiopians ( which merely means in ancient greek the blacks) and that is elementray when you see their position in any advanced society and the world at large. Use the time you have left to put an end to your doubts and begin to do things to sort out the Earth, its resources and the improvish people. One thing you should also note from your bible is that it is always the advanced nations that are destoryed in the end and usually become subject to that old enemy. Time to make that change or face the consequence in judgement to what you have done to such nations like ethiopia Africa where you have stolen their human and natural resources and made yourselves falsely superior that is slowly coming back to haunt you. Give thanks that the Ark is where she is supported by the fact that she was accompanied and administrated by no other Michael himself. The very name that angels used in their battle cry. Thanks

How do you like that one? I love it. Lets have some fun while we’re at it. Shall we? Ofcourse. Why not. Okay. Lets get begin and don’t get mad. If all you guys who claim that the Ark is not in Ethiopia, woke up one day and saw on the news or read somewhere saying, “Yes, indeed, the Ark of the Covanant is in Rome or Greece. You all probably would beleive it, wouldn’t you all? It’s okay. Tell the truth. I bet you all would. Ofcourse you all would. Should I go on? I think so. Like I said, dont get mad, or do get mad. Who cares how you feel or what you think. Check this out. Are you ready for this? Hear it comes. Where is the first human being is said to have came from? Go ahead, say it. I know you can. O, lets be more specific. It it not Ethiopia where the oldes human is dated to came from? Yes. Thats rite. And, you know what? This have nothing to do with the Ark of the Covanant. But it goes to show you people normally think. You all try to fool yourselves and the whole world that nothing good can come out of Africa, but only from Europe. Like I said, do not get vex. When you all was in school or if some of you are still in high school or in college, what do you all constantly hear about? O, I know. The Greeks this, the Greeks that. The Romans this, the Romans that. Isn’t it true? Sure it is. But no, The Ark of the Covanant just cannot be in Africa. No no no. No way, not in an African country. Well guess what else? Hear comes again. And like it or not, and beleive it or not. The first Christian country, do you all know where it’s at? O, you all dont know huh? or maybe you all do. Yes, Ethiopia. Ethiopia have the longest history of Christianity. Over 2000 years. I bet your little teachers didn’t tell you all that, did they? And, where did civilization started? Ofcourse you all know this one. The whole world knows. So don’t preten like you all don’t know. Are we having fun yet? O, this one is going to be good. This is one of my favorit. I used to hear so much about the Roman Emporors. Get ready for this one. Its going to be a great lesson for you people. And, I can hardly wait for any teachers in school to mention anything about Roman Emporors again. I will shout them up with this one. How many Roman emporors where there. I looked it up one night. About one hundred and sixty something. I forgot exatly how many. But I dont think its more than a hundre and seventy. And, again, this have nothing to do with the Ark of the Covanant, but it just goes to show how much you white people like to big up yourselves and try to “put down anyone else who is not Europians. Okay. there are “TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE EMPORORS,FROM KING SOLOMAN’S LINEAGE, STARTING WITH Menelik II, KING SOLOMAN SON, UT UNTIL, SUPPOSEDLY, 1974. Isn’t that something. Even in modern days, there have been Emporors and Empresess in Ethiopia. Isn’t that really something. But, do they teach anything like that in the racist institutions? Ofcourse not. They dont want black people to know anything great about there history. His name his Haile Selassie I, “straight from king David and king Soloman lineage. King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Loin of the Tribe of Judah. He was born as Tafari Makonnen. This one is going to fuck with you’re heads for a while. And, I understant because even some black people dont know this. He was then crown Hail Selassie I in 1930 as the Lord God HIM self. Ofcourse you’re going to be like what the fuck am I talking about. Well, people love to talk about that they are Christians, and Jews but dont know shit about the bible or anything. What does thre bible says about Christ? It says he’s the Lord, rite? Yes. It does and am pretty sure you all know that. Thats easy. Well guess what? What does the bible says about the Lord’s name? It says his name is ” to be fear” rite? Yes, it does. Well the word Tafari means “FEAR.” OK, no problem if you all don’t beleive or understad. Didnt the Bible said Christ will have a new name when he come back. Yes it does. And, Didnt Christ said when he came back he’s King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Loin of the Tribe of Judah? Yes he did, and siting on where? On his father king David’s trown. Its in Revelation 19, verse 15. Look it up and while you are in Reveelation you might as well look at Chapter 2 verse 9, saying ” I know the blasphemy of them who say they are jews and are not. So you see, as we all know those fake jews from Poland and Germany are not real Jews, any idiot with even just a little bit of sense, would know that they could never be Jews. It doesnt make any sense for them to be jews. The bible says the children of Isreal will be scatterd across the four corners of the earth. Where are the so call jews? Where are they from and where are most of them now? Are they all over the world? No they are not. Okay. the bible also said the children of Isreal will serve a people who they do not know. Are the so call jews serving anybody? No, actually they are usually wealthy and usually keeps to themselves. We all know that black people was scatterd across the whole world throw slavery and is still serving other nations who dont care about them. Lets go back to the so call jews. I asked before where are them mostly at now. Are they now is Isreal? Yes they are. And, how did they get there? Well after world II, the League of Nations gave them a peice of land next to the Palestinians and they have been there ever since and after they got there, little by little they started stealling the people’s lands and thats how comes they and the Palestinians have been fighing for so long. they went to the people’s place and started trouble. Okay, so, like I said, the League of Nation, now call The United Nation, gave them the land and they claim that it now server as the “State of Isreal. Lets keep in mind the objective of what am getting. My point is that the so call jews are not jews and I will prove it. Again, they was never scattered anywhere as the bible stated, they went on there own free will because Hitler was trying to kill them all and during the world war II and after the war there homes in Poland and Germany was ruin and they did not have anywhere destent to live, so they migrated to the “so call middle east,” in reality there are no middle east. Where is the middle west, and middle north and middle south? Thats rite, there is none. Its nonsense. So, okay. Back to the idea of the Jews. The bible also says the children of Isreal will lose their “tongue or language. What does that mean? Basically, the language that they used to speak will be lost or taken away from them. Well, did the so call jews lost any language of their’s? Huh? Did they? Okay. We all know that during slavery black people went through what was call seasoning. Meaning they were forced to give up whatever they knew from Africa. We all know that the slaves in the new world lost their language, now speaking everything else but African language. For example, English, French, Spanish, so on and so forth and the list goes on and on. Black people are all over the world. They are in many parts of the Caribbean, in North America, Southe America, in many parts of Europe, like England, France Germany Spain. Name a country, they are in every country and are there in good numbers. The so call jews are not actively dwelling everywhere. Its a fact. Go to the Islands and you will see. You wont see any of them there, except for maybe on vacation or something. In the USA, Canada, Brasil, Astraila, in Asia, such as India and everywhere else, black people are everywhere. So, does it make any sense for them those people to claim they are jews? Ofcourse not. They have not been jews and cannot be, unless they convert by regilion. You see, being Jew have nothing to do with religion. Religion can be make up and are and have been someti
ng that people have and are making up. The real Isrealites are a nation of people. Remember they came from “Father Abraham,” as the bible said, okay and have nothing to do with religion, its who they are, form where they desended from. Remember, there are 12 tribes of Isreal, rite? Okay. Am not trying to be an asshole, but since the so call jews claim that they are jews, they next time you see one of them, and am just thinking of it now, (go up to them and ask them, what tribe of Isreal are they from. I mean, they should know, they are so religious, they know everything about the old testement, and trust me they do. They keep the sabath day and the bible say that people should do and not just the Jews but everybody. They do. Am talking about the Orthodox ones. I used to live in a place in New York where there was a lot of them and after sun down on Fridays to sun down on Saturdays they typically dont do any works and ever ususlly dont drive either but mostly walk. So, what they did it, okay, I have to, memtion something here. Someone had posted a commont before, saying that a house was build to store the Ark of the covanant, which is true, but what they did not mention or maybe the dont know was that Jerusalem was conquered and taken over by a few times by other surronding countries a few times. They said someting about none of King Solomon sons would have any reasons to take the Ark to Ethiopia and that no surrounding countries had entered into Jerusalem. Well, I have news for whoever said that. The Babylonians did went to Isreal and took captives a whole lot of the children of Isreal and did take the ark of the covanat. And, actually, I think the bible did memtioned that the Ark did get return back, but after accourding to what I know, when King Solomon son, form Ethiopia went to visit his father, when going back to Ethiopia, him and some other priest brought it with them to Ethiopia) What you guys may not knwo is that, according to what I have read and understand, is that the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon, through their son merged Isreal and Ethiopa as part of each other’s kingdom. And, it is known that in Ethiopia, there are Jews, who still practice the ways of the old ways, so its not impossible to say that the Ark of the covanant is in Ethiopia. Where else is it then? Where else in the world are any Jews, fake or not and practise the ways of the old days and are affiliated with regards to haveing the ark with them, that also have crediable arguments of it really being there? Well, oviously there are real and fake jews in Isreal, but none of them, as far as I know and to the best of my knowledge have ever seriously claim to have it there. I mean, its Isreal, why wouldnt it be there? Because its not there and the real Jews who are in Isreal dont have any reasons to make up stories about it being there. Ok. Where else now? Poland. Once I was watching something on the Discovery chennel and the people were taling about what countries possible may have it there. Poland was one of the countries. The story that they give was so funny. They claimed that they had the Ark of the Covanant “but indeed also have two Ark of the Covanant. I never heard of no such thing before then. The bible never talk about no two Ark of no Covanant. I forgot why they claim they did not let the Discovery chennel people see it. Okay now. There are quite a few so call Jews in The United Stated of America and do you guys ever hear them saying that they have they Ark of the Covanant with them? Probably not. Alright now. The reasons the Ethiopian monks and preist gave for not allowing anyone see and look at it, besides the monks who guards it, is just and exactly the same way the bible explains it. Okay I am not trying to show off or be rude, but people all the time keep on mentioning that they are Christians and this and that and whatever else. Check it out. Doesnt the bible mentioned that the Ark of the Covanant is so Holy and is supposed to be dedicated to The Most High Almighty himself? Doesnt the bible explains that this thing is so pure and only the chosen and clean high preist was to minister before it? Huh? So ofcourse the Ethiopian monks and preist will not just let anybody look at it. And, it common sense that it have nothing to do with not wanting regular people seeing it. But thats just how it is. I mean even if they want to let people see it, they probably wont let them see it, because occording to them, if they let them see it, they will die and it makes sense. Didn’t some of you people say Idiana Jones and the Lost Ark? I think thats whats the it was call, Wasn’t there a scene in it when the it was revealed and it was really bright and powerful. So, in real life, it’s probably the same.
Okay, as I was saying before, about the so call Jews. If they are Jews, what tribe of Isreal do the come from? Remember I said, they were not scattered any where, they went on their own free will to the so call middle east. And, dont they still speak whatever language they usually speak form the olden days. And, there is no doubt in my mind that proably had took away things from Jerusalem and practice the Hebrew language, to preten that they are Jews. O, yes. Didnt the bible just said that they are not Jews? If they want to call themselves Jews, they can.
Blessed love.

Not for the first time and undoubtedly not for the last, the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia is claiming it has the original Ark of the Covenant spoken of in the Bible, and made famous all over again by Indiana Jones. What is new about all this is that the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church says he will be unveiling it for all the world to see soon and very soon

Christians,
Do not worship idols. The Ark is an old testament object. Jesus changed all that. Worship him with your heat and mind. If they have it…Good for them. May it bring them much tourist dollars. Store your treasure in heaven. Not in a small chapel in Ethiopia.
