A 20 year old journalistic vision came to pass in July of 2008 when she interviewed His Holiness The Dalai Lama. It was a potent reminder to never, ever, ever give up on our dreams.

Over the years, Edie has written for mainstream and transformational publications. She has interviewed hundred of notables in the transformational fields, including Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Debbie Ford, Leonard Peltier, Shirley MacLaine, Michael Beckwith, Jonathan Goldman, Gregg Braden, Neale Donald Walsch, Mary Manin Morrissey, Dan Millman, Alan Cohen, Ram Dass, Jack Canfield, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Patch Adams, Ben and Jerry, Donna DeLory, James Twyman, Elizabeth Lesser, Michael Franti and Jean Houston.

Edie is the host of the Blog Talk Radio show called It's All About Relationships each Thursday night from 8-9 pm on Vivid Life Radio www.vividlife.me.

Edie’s Book: The Bliss Mistress Guide To Transforming The Ordinary Into The Extraordinary is a distillation of more than 50 years of life experiences through the heart, mind and eyes of the author. The chapters weave their way through joys and challenges, bringing with them 'portable life skills' that assist the reader in re-creating their lives magnificently. Laughter and tears are both welcome as the pages are turned and readers recognize themselves in the 'word pictures' that are painted. The book has a “Chicken Soup For The Soul” flavor to it. Inquiry questions follow each chapter to invite the reader to explore more deeply.

Dancing Star

Love Flavors Everything

This past Sunday, I was attending services at Circle of Miracles, an interfaith community in Doylestown, PA.  There I was surrounded by loving kindred spirits as we listened with rapt attention to my friend David Young share his sparks of [...]

Mensch

I have had the honor of knowing the remarkable young man that you will be reading about in a moment for the past four or five years. We have had conversations about spirituality, energy healing and martial arts. He has friends of all ages [...]

Greater Gift

One of the things that I love about being the scribe for the Bliss Blog is that it keeps me real, vulnerable and transparent and offers permission for others to do the same. That’s part of the message today. Sometimes, despite our best [...]

World Sauntering Day
This is a perfect opportunity to put into inspired action what I shared in my last Bliss Blog entry about 'multibasking' vs. multi-tasking. Since there is likely a holiday for every eventuality, today is World Sauntering Day. According to Wikipedia,  "The purpose is to remind us to ta

Multi-Basker
'Crazy-busy' is often a way I have described my schedule and level of activity over the past 20 years. Some days I have needed to check both my Google calendar and the beautifully decorated spiral bound Celtic knot designed paper version of the repository for the tasks that comprise my days.  We

As those who have been reading the Bliss Blog for awhile may know, I wear many hats. Tonight I donned the one that is labeled recovery counselor in a drug and alcohol outpatient program. On Monday nights I offer a group for folks who have co-occurring conditions which translates to

Wispy Stream
I was listening to an interview and concert today on World Café on WXPN with Scottish singer-songwriter K.T. Tunstall. I was introduced to her music when Black Horse and The Cherry Tree came out in 2004.  Besides loving her melodic meanderings, I discovered that she and I have something

Love Is The Answer
In the midst of a very late night conversation with my son, this thought kept running through my mind. It's nothing new and yet, as much as I talk about, teach about, counsel about and write about love, there are moments when spiritual amnesia kicks and my experience of love feels as if it is in 'an
