The Hummingbirds

Minutest of the feathered kind,
Possessing every charm combined,
Nature, in forming thee, designed
A proof within how little space
She can comprise such perfect grace,
Rendering the lovely; fairy race

Your hummingbird comments made me think that perhaps the Dixie Hummingbirds, a classic gospel group, was inspired by the spiritual qualities and symbolism of hummingbirds.>
