CM's Final Posts: You Can Fill the Space
Eighteen years ago, I wrote an article for a magazine that got me called in for a taped interview with a Fox TV morning news anchor. Being an effective communicator and a skillful public speaker was a dream of mine at the time. And still is.
After some 30 minutes of prep with the station's hair-and-

Websites to Visit, Blogs to Read
Here are some blogs and websites I like. It's not a complete list. But it's a start.
The first is called New Moon Journal and it is written by Michele Bailey-Lessirard, a life coach, collage artist, and "shamanic astrologer." On the opening page of her site, you'll find a little slide show of her am

Thanks, CM. I was enchanted by this. I found myself slack-jawed, smiling, all good. So today, after swim lessons, I gave a preview to my revved-up little ones, suggesting they might like to watch it after showering. To my surprise, they flew in and out of the shower without a word. Dazed (but delighted), I turned them over to Popsicles and Bliss. I’m not sure what I enjoyed more, their comments or their big eyes and open mouths as they watched. Here’s a few comments that left me laughing: “Do you think he practices?” “I think there’s strings…look! See? Over there…” (a riff on the merits of Silly String followed; ohh for a tape recorder!) “You know, daddy can do that. With pillows. I saw him when he was wrestling with mom.” “I want to try that with eggs. Or doll heads” “Do you want me to braid your hair?”>
