CM's Final Posts: You Can Fill the Space
Eighteen years ago, I wrote an article for a magazine that got me called in for a taped interview with a Fox TV morning news anchor. Being an effective communicator and a skillful public speaker was a dream of mine at the time. And still is.
After some 30 minutes of prep with the station's hair-and-

Websites to Visit, Blogs to Read
Here are some blogs and websites I like. It's not a complete list. But it's a start.
The first is called New Moon Journal and it is written by Michele Bailey-Lessirard, a life coach, collage artist, and "shamanic astrologer." On the opening page of her site, you'll find a little slide show of her am

Still Posted at My Desk
"Take off from here. And don't be so earnest,
let others wear the sackcloth and the ashes.
Let go, let fly, forget.
You've listened long enough. Now strike your note."

And Finally, This:
Place your burden
at the feet of the Lord of the Universe
who accomplishes everything.
Remain all the time steadfast in the heart,
in the Transcendental Absolute.
God knows the past, present and future.
He will determine the future for you
and accomplish the work.
What is to be done will be done

Hey Amy, I can’t get enough fiber, that is, no amount is ever enough for me…and that’s after 60. So I have the cuisinart that I use to grind flax seeds as well. I add lecithin granules(1 tbs)to cold or warm cereal with organic walnuts and almonds, a few dried cherries or raisins and sometimes a sliced kiwi on top. Oh, Yerba Prima has good psyllium husk caps that I take a few times a day with a bunch of water and then food. A few stalks of kale and collard steamed 20 or so seconds and a tsp of omega 3 fatty acids. Oh there’s more…beans and tempe and amaranth and turkey and salmon. Trying to get off the chocolate even though its atleast 70% cocoa. More fruit and veggies during the day. I’m supposed to be doing that ‘calorie restriction’ diet after I listened to Charlie Rose the other night with his line up of experts. Can’t forget about water and exercise…as important as the fiber.

I’ve found that after I switched all of my breads, pastas, and crackers to whole grain I don’t have as much of a problem with regularity. Also, popcorn does the trick for me as well.

hi . . . i found you via holon newsletter . . . and i can’t seem to get the flax seed thing right . . . i bought whole seeds, ground them up, sprinkled them on oatmeal, and it was . . . . terrible
perhaps i just don’t like the taste of flax, but really it was just . . . awful
i do the powdered psyllium seed thing at night but it can get so yukky . . . why must fiber be so unfriendly??? oatmeal is yummy . . . yes, lovely oatmeal with raisins and cinnamon would have to be my favorite fiber . . .
