At Talk Islam, Willow asks, (of my atheist friend Razib)
[how] would you boil down the idea of the 'god of the philosophers' in layman's terms? And explain how, in theory, this god is ideologically and functionally different from a religious deity?
and an intelligent debate ensues. Actually, atheism is a topic that gets discussed a lot over there.

Philosophy is the love of wisdom and wisdom comes from God so it matter not where it comes from. Atheism is apriori theism; so it doesn't destinquish itself much from other thesitic ideas. Theism is theism and I would rather be and enjoy being than anything else.
THE PHILOSOPHERS ARE HUMAN BEINGS,THEY HAVE MATERIAL BODY AND SOUL.
GOD CREATED ALL MAN,REGARDLESS OF WHO WE ARE,WE ARE ALL CREATED BY GOD.WHILE GOD EXIST THROUGH OUR FAITH,SCIENCE IS LIKE A BOOK THAT RELATES DETAILS HOW CREATION WAS MADE,IN THE BIBLE WHEN GOD CREATED
THE WORLD,IT TOOK HIM 7 DAYS TO CREATE IT,WHICH IT IS NOT LITERALLY 7
DAYS IN OUR OWN CALENDAR,SO I CAN SAY THAT STUDIES OF EVOLUTION TOOK
LONG TIME LIKE WHEN GOD TOOK LONG TIME TO CREATE ALL THINGS.GOD IS GOD
TO ALL THINGS,THAT MAKES HIM GOD OF SCIENCE PER SAY,GOD OF ALL SUBJECTS,BECAUSE HE IS THE SOURCE,THE CAUSE AND THE REASON OF ALL
THINGS.THIS IS MY COMMENT.
In a nutshell, we are all gods in our own right. We have all been here before and every moment is a chance for us to discover keys to the universe and to a deeper understanding of all the beauty and complexity of the creation around us...ultimately helping us to see the past more clearly and be aware of the need for coherence from time to time.
