So You Want to Join Beliefnet Community

Categories: How To

When the new Beliefnet community launches later this month, there will be dozens of ways you or your group can use the site. Here are a few ways you can take advantage of the new tools to express yourself, connect with others, and explore your spiritual path.

Search by Your Interests
One of the most fun ways to explore is to simply keep clicking on keywords of interest. You’ll find a world of people with similar interests. You can learn more about these people by reading their journals, looking at photos they've uploaded, and more. Then you can add them as friends and keep up with what they're doing on a regular basis.

Start a Journal
Your journal can be used for many things, including:

  • Recording your thoughts, prayers, and aspirations
  • Learning and exploring based on readings and questions from Beliefnet content feeds
  • Sharing and connecting with friends and the rest of the world

    Go Beyond Text
Your personal area on Beliefnet can be more than just words. You can also post pictures, audio files, or even video clips.

    Join Groups or Discussions
If you're interested in a topic, odds are you're not the only one. Explore Beliefnet's many groups and forums based on a variety of subjects.

    Help a Cause
Is there a cause you're passionate about? Add a Donation Badge to your site, and try to raise money for the charity of your choice.

Stay tuned to Beliefnet for more information about launching your Prayer Group on the site in the coming weeks. In the meantime, make sure you sign up to be notified when the new site launches.
