Well, okay, in reality it's Beliefnet's very own group devoted to The Father Matthew Show, but it's brand new and we wanted you to know about it. Follow this link: The Father Matthew Show Group
And while we're on the subject, a couple other new groups of interest:
-Laws of Attraction in Action: Learn to use the principles of the Law of Attraction in everyday life and really create the life of your dreams.
-A New Earth: It's all about making the decision to be open to the awakening, to being awakened, and to remaining aware!
IHOP

IHOP is an enthusiastic member of the community. A mother of two, she also has a husband deployed in Iraq. Attempting to reach out and offer support for others in a similar situation, she created the Military Family Support Group .
Plus: Starting at the beginning of March, we are going to run a monthly "Member of the Month" feature, wherein we select active members of the community (including but not limited to previous Members of the Week) and you vote to elect a winner! So keep an eye out for that in the coming weeks.
Alright, we have the new Caption Contest up and it's a doozy! To see the new photo and enter your own caption, click here!
Remember, do not post your caption to this blog entry. Only captions posted on the picture page will be counted!
Congratulations to ButterflyInTheWind, the winner of our last contest.

Two new book groups in the community I'd like to point you to:
-Exploring Faith Book Club: The Party Faithful":
How are you feeling about how religion is addressed within politics? Author Amy Sullivan shares some of her research and ideas in her new book, THE PARTY FAITHFUL about the matter. In the book, Sullivan tells the story of how the Democratic Party distanced itself from religion and came close to losing its soul in the process. More importantly, it highlights essential changes that need to be made--and are beginning to be made--before the Democratic Party can respond to the very real moral concerns of voters, and win the White House. THE PARTY FAITHFUL is the February 2008 featured book for the Exploring Faith Book Club. Sign up now and join the conversation!
-Eden Thrillers Book Club:
Join authors Sharon Linnea and B.K. Sherer in this online book group discussion of their novels of faith and adventure. We'll start with a discussion of the first book, CHASING EDEN, the adventure of Army chaplain Jaime Richards, as she races to find the explosive secret at the site of the Garden of Eden! We'll post discussion topics in order of the plot so as not to give away any surprises to new readers. At the same time, we'll have an open discussion going with Sharon and B.K. about any topic you'd like to talk about: the cool Biblical archaeological sites mentioned in the book--such as Ur and Babylon, the book of Genesis, the characters, Eden stories, what it's like to be an Army chaplain, how Sharon and B.K. write, how they know each other...anything you're wondering about! As time goes on, we'll add discussions of BEYOND EDEN, and eventually the next book, TREASURES OF EDEN, which comes out in October 2008. So grab a copy of CHASING EDEN, and come along for the ride!
