Michael was a beautiful soul. I did not know him personally, and I realize that there are millions maybe even billions of other fans around the world that feel the same loss as me, but I cannot help but feel personally touched by his loss. I do not believe he was a pedophile. I have had the horrifying experience of finding out someone I knew was a pedophile that I never suspected, someone who on the outside looks like an upstanding citizen with a good job and everything, but looking back I always knew that something was “off”, I ALWAYS knew. Whereas with Michael even though I only knew him through his music, I feel he would not hurt a soul and also if you do believe that that sort of thing is a “sickness” and not something that can be helped, I always had this feeling that he was fortunately not afflicted with the sickness and was attracted to adults, and his love of children was actually the wholesome love that many of us feel. I feel he was especially focused emotionally on the idea of chilldhood and liked being with children and making them happy because his own strained childhood, and it may have even been unhealthy emotionally, but that does not mean that he was stunted sexually and certainly does not mean he was a predator. Very likely he was taken advantage of because of his “weirdness” ….when all over the world so many pedophiles go around undetected and leading priveledged lives as pillars of their community while they commit unspeakable acts and damage souls for the rest of their lives because they drive normal cars and live in normal houses and do not wear masks when they go out of the house and have carousels in their back yards and papparazzi following them wherever they go.
Besides all of that, I just thank Michael for every song he worked so hard on and every beat and every note and every movement that makes so many people happy and helps them through their own hardships. I realize that he believed that his gift came from God, and I do believe all of our talents wether big or small come from God as well, but I thank him for working to use that gift and for making people happy. Most of all I just thank him for being who he was, even without the music, even if he never was so extraordinary.
I’m going to be jamming to his jams forever, and I hope that he is still making music on whatever plane his is now on and that he is very happy and perhaps has left some of his burdens behind. And my thoughts and my heart goes out to the Jackson family, his parents, who should never live to see their child buried, his brothers and sisters, who are talented in their own right and have shared the spotlight with him at times, but who are only human, and losing a sibling must be one of the most heartbreaking things in the world. And especially my heart goes out to his children who are without a father now, and probably scared and feeling alone. I pray that they find peace and know that he is watching over them and that God is watching over them but also that although they are most unfortunate kids in losing their dad, that they are fortunate kids in that millions of people around the world are thinking and praying for them and they are never alone. Hopefully some of the burdens of celebrity which Michael himself struggled with as a child and tried to shield his own children from, will in the end produce good things and new paths for his children, and not burdens.
JIP (Jam in peace) Michael. we love you forever.

It is sad to see anyone die because of drug abuse. This man had aspecial music and dance talent…but to call him an icon is something I cannot agree with. An icon is to be looked up to.
I feel bad for the children involved and pray they can lead some kind of normal life from now on…though it seems pretty difficult to imagine.
The question stands, good musician or not, there were horrible hints to hid darker side.
May he rest in peace and may we all be able to tell the differencve between an icon and a performer!

To some Michael Jackson was a pop-culture idol, to others he was a world-class singer and absolutely stunning dancer. Yet to some he was a man with an enormous charisma and a larger-than-life character that was reaching out through his art and was changing lives. He was that person to me. I simply cannot imagine my life without having his constant presence ever since I saw his ‘Thriller’ video that was re-recorded hundreds of time over on an old VHS tape. He was one of the few people that had a great impact on me and helped me shape the way I perceive the world.
