posted by Jana Melpolder | 12:00am Monday November 2, 2009

Do you have a hard time letting go of the past? Has the thought of forgiving someone who hurt you always been difficult to do? You might not be alone if you feel this way, but what you do with your pain or frustrations can really make a difference.

You can also check out the new Catholic gallery on how to let go of grudges and welcome forgiveness into your life.

I found when I learned to forgive myself it became easier to forgive others. To forgive does not mean to forget. It allows us to go on with our lives, ask for forgiveness and give forgiveness to those who ask us. To truly forgive ourselves and others allows us to learn to love in a way we never thought possable before and opens doors of trust that would of remained closed..Blessings to you on your journey.
