Category: The Spirit of Weight LossHas God Helped You?
Consider journaling about how your relationship with God has helped you (or not) with your weight concerns and problems. Take the time to explore your experiences and the feelings associated with them – and be totally honest – you may feel praise, gratitude, appreciation, or something else. You may feel frustrated, alone, separated, or even angry with God for what life has dealt you as a person struggling with excess fat. Exploring your spiritual experiences and connecting them with your bodily problems and writing about them here will help you understand yourself better than ever before.

The only time I had enough patience to wait on God concerning health and weight loss was after my stroke six years ago.
It was a wake-up call and I knew there had to be changes made in my diet. I came home with only minor effects from the stroke (praise the Creator) and after much prayer I was led to confront my diet one step at a time. I began to shop differently and cook differently. I was able to eliminate a lot of unhealthy foods from my life.
The end result -- I lost over 30 pounds in 4 months.
So why am I here? I still need to lose about 30 more pounds and I can't seem to stay focused long enough to shed the pounds. I know I need to discipline myself in an exercise program, but I've yet to conquer that battle.
Also, I have slacked some on my eating habits as of late -- I've been blaming this on difficult life circumstances, but I know I need to continue to care for myself regardless of how other people's journeys impact my life.
Blessings, Mammah

I am very new to this. I have been trying to loose weight for a while, and it seems I have been blocked in so very many ways. I can go days without eating and nothing. I eat regular and nothing. Please, if anyone can identify with me let me know.
God bless
