The Inner Wisdom of Work

If you are working on the job that you are for the money and all that having money promises, then don’t be surprised when you discover that money does not do all the things it promises to do. It’s time to rethink work. It’s certainly time to redefine what we mean by success. There comes a time when making a life has to take priority over making a living. Success in today’s world is better measured if we think along the lines of striving for a balanced life: striking a balance between the professional and the personal, work and play, family and career, promotions and rest, wealth and influence and good physical health and spiritual wholeness.

Here are a few questions to write out loud about in your journal:

How much money do I (and my family) need in order to live?

Do I need a new job or a new perspective on the work that I do?

i don't think we need very much. My family was blessed with a high income end job for the last 2 years it went under Christmas Eve. I am concerned about almost everybody we don't have jobs but neither do a LOT of people some are losing their homes or have lost them. It is not pretty for the people out there and I am concerned.

The word that you delivered is so rich. Keep reaching people with the messages that God gives to you.
